I installed my 3080 FE today, I love it. However I am getting a low, odd noise from my speakers with it. It's a buzzing / interference sound, whenever I boot a game or run a benchmark. Even when the PC speakers are muted but deffo coming through the speakers.

Anybody know if it can be causing some sort of interference etc?

Sounds like coil whine to me, dodgy transistors when under load. My card has the same issue but it goes away when i use my external AMP.

Hi, so no noise from the GPU at all, even when I stick my head into the case right next to the GPU.

I have just removed my 3.5mm speaker input from my soundcard and put it into the motherboard audio instead and problem solved. No issues when using a headset either so seems like electrical interference?

However this isnt the solution I want, my soundcard is a creative soundblaster AE-5 and is much better quality than my onboard mobo audio.

You didn't, I just had it on my phone I was working at the time.
 
Whilst my 3080 FE is due delivery today, I'm slightly concerned that my DPD tracking info hasn't updated since the early hours of yesterday morning to say it was "on its way to your local depot". Fingers, toes, all the things crossed that it arrives today!

Same for me and also in NI. Even got up early just in case...

Oh **** mate. I absolutely hate DPD for this reason. The amount of times I see it in Warehouse 2 or whatever in Birmingham (never moves) then you get a text message a day later with it on someone's van at 10:00am and you have no family home to sign for it!!!
