Yes I've seen it mentioned here and the mem temps have dropped compared to the first 3090 fe release. Probably got rid of the "plaster of paris" pads they used before.

Looking less likely we're going to get anything other than those 3090's now though :(

Oh well, my wait continues. I just cannot justify paying the market value for GPUs at the moment. I'll just keep rocking my 1050 laptop - I like low textures and 900p resolutions /cries

I remember that drop, my 4g crappie out and I missed it :o


Still a massive crap shoot regardless, last I seen they were only accepting credit card and not PayPal so you have to have your payment on you constantly for when you get an alert.

FWIW the 3090 was available for over an hour yesterday, it's one of the easier ones to get.

Yeah, you can save all your details except payment unless you've made a purchase previously and saved card details.

Don't have one where payment has to be authorised by bank and you get a code etc....by the time got code sent so i could plug it in and confirm it was me, I lost the card, it was no longer in my basket

You'd think they would give you 5 or 10 mins to complete the purchase, the system they have in place is just luck based and nothing more.
 
Was hoping in vain that a form of a 3070/80 would follow today, optimistic I know.
Was getting a bit touchy every time I get an alert on my phone in the morning, but can see the alerts in early Jan were in the evening....here's hoping.

I'm wondering if they still restrict people from buying another card, I had my 3070 a year ago. According to the retailer you couldn't purchase ANY other 30 series if you had one purchase be it fe or aib. Wonder If that's still the case now.

It's still the case. This gets asked/posted every drop, you'll be able to purchase the 40 series at the end of the year.
