30xx Series Founders Edition

but for how long though?
I bought one 3080 FE in 2020 then sold my whole PC last yea and moved on to console gaming.now I'm building a new PC (and getting rid of both consoles) and need a new one. does it mean I can't buy another one from that retailer indefinitely?
what about a different card?

They've not changed their policy and I haven't seen anywhere to suggest an end date to it. Try contacting them.

It only applies to FE cards I believe so you can buy a non-FE card.

I'm going to do that but but are there people who actually tried buying a card after 2 years and were denied?
it could be the old message from days of scalpers and shortage.

where?
I couldnt find any post.
after 2 years? that's defies logic!

Crazy..they seem to prefer leaving FE cards unsold than lifting this absurdly out of date policy.

Not that I want one but there are currently four SKU's still on sale that people who might want to buy a 2nd card, for whatever reason, but can't.

Stupid.

The only possible reason I can think of is Nvidia not wanting to annoy their AIB partners by giving people a superior card at a cheaper price with so much unsold 30xx cards out there.

At that point I'd just get a family member or mate to order it and bank xfer them the money then give me the card when it arrives then tweet the store a picture with a middle finger emoji lol.

Yes obviously that's the first thing I thought about, but it's going to be a lot of headache + they'll check the address too ,so extra pain.just not worth it.
that being said I'm pretty sure it will be possible after 2 years even if system auto rejects, they should be be resolve it manually. it.common sense really.
that's unless someone bought few and were obviously a reseller.

I can confirm that I tried to buy a 3080 having purchased a 3060ti last year. Denied.

I bought a 6800XT instead, which was stroke of luck, TBF. :)

now there's excess stock..4000 series due in weeks + 2 years passeed since I bought one..I think I'll manage if there stock.I'll update.
