Picture quality may be good but No Dolby Atmos, Dolby True HD or DTS Master Audio though it seems. Thats a big negative for me.

Still wouldnt buy it just dont like Apple products.
For me even streaming 4k I just still know its not the best picture quality I could get. I`ll watch it if there is no other way like Daredevil etc on Netflix but I still prefer getting the disc.
Its a bit like having a 1080ti that you got for half price but using it on a 60hz 1080p monitor. :) Its fantastic but you know you could have it better elsewhere.

Wow Xbox x just got tore apart on HDTV test as an HDR player.

Well he didn’t even want to test and compared it to a stand-alone as it’s that bad.

Also seems there’s a patch comming to fix the problem.

Anyone know if this has affected the Xbox s?

Comparing the Xbox One X with the Xbox One S, I was quite surprised to see similar issues on the S;
I don’t remember the S looking quite so problematic when I looked at its 4K Blu-ray abilities in the summer of 2016.
Maybe something Microsoft has done since the console launched has made 4K Blu-ray playback worse?

Picking up an Oppo UDP203 tomorrow, but before I commit and hand over the cash, is there anything else I should be looking at? It's going to be paired with an LG OLED55B7 if that helps as to determining alternatives
