****7950 (disabled) BOOST BIOS thread****

Currently running 2 7950 IceQs, just wondering, will all ports on the back of the card still work with this modded BIOS? As I run EyeFinity and pretty much need all the ports. I know some of the BIOSs disable one of the ports.. just cant remember which

Cheers

Yep, this is like an update to your current BIOS. It only modifies your BIOS, everything works much better then on boost ;)
MSI AB works with this BIOS

This bios is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Currently running 1093/1563 rock solid stable at 1.155v and memory at 1.6v

Yep! :D
1070/1500 core VDDC 1.1v-1.125v, temp 60-61c my ASIC 79.8%
I uploaded the 1070/1500 low voltage profile, are you running this one? or...

EDIT

What ASIC was your new card?

I'm still using the first bios. I could use the second one, but this one is working fine and id rather have too much voltage that i can tweak than not enough or being close to the limit. I have lower asic cards anyway so more voltage is always good. This will now be my 24/7 clock with another 57mhz left in the core clock if i need it.

I have mine at 1070/1400....great bios. I must have the worst memory ever on my card if I go 1500 I get artifacts...

But overall Im very happy.

7950 memory is pretty crappy tbh, unless your 7950 is one of the lucky ones that has hynix memory. Still the his 7950 is a great card. My memory seems good to about 1600mhz which combined with the 384bit bus is more than enough. I do miss the 7970 memory though, that stuff was godly.

Have you tried increasing the memory voltage bodybag?

On BOOST BIOS I went to 1204/1601, mem stock.
I didn't overclock the card on the new BIOS, I might play with it today.

How do I stop the BIOS from changing my voltage when under load? Because I set it to 1.18v in HIS iTurbo, but the BIOS downvolts it to 1.14/1.15 when underload. This causes it to freeze :/

Yup flashed the BIOS, but it seems one of my cards or maybe both of them cant handle 1070 @ 1.14v which is what this BIOS sometimes downvolts it to when under load.

I'll try afterburner
