Pre-orders with ocuk are largely reliable imo, prices appear more than most expected i would think, but you will pay a premium anywhere within first couple of weeks, just the way the UK works. ;)
 
I was under the impression that games were moving away from using card orientated AA? (even though 10.1 makes it mandatory lol)

At least the UK doesn't have the seriously annoying 'rebate' system going on with tech over here. We have it for cars, just not for tech, which is a good thing. I actively stay away from those products when visiting my wifes family over there.

Well my orders cancelled now, i sorta felt a bit cheated. From what i read on here, the cards are this price for now as theres limited stock ? Early adopters get a bit shafted imo. Sure the cards great (i completely dig the single slot design), but paying extra just because there isnt enough to go around turns me off :( Il probly get 1 if the price goes down within the next couple of weeks.

Not sure why peeps are moaning about the price of these, £149 plus vat seems reasonable to me??:confused:
I guess I will let you know when mine [Gainward 512mb] arrives Wednesday ;)
 
I think the price is pretty damn good. For a card that pretty much costs half of what mine did when it was brand new...It's a damn good performer, judging by all the reviews I have read.
 
Well, went ahead and ordered a Bigabyte card found in stock. £20 more than was hoping to pay, but hell, my GTX auction ends tomorrow night and did not want to be left without GPU.

Hopefully sell my GTX for good amount, then put the extra cash towards a Q6600.

Hoping it arrives tomorrow :)

Im dissapointed with the price. I know its not a lot but ive seen some where the top cards are reaching up to 200 quid. i think the prices should be 10 quid lower at least on all of them in everyshop not just ocuk. Though i dont see why ocuk are preorder as they are being sold now.

id never buy from that company. If it dies it can take months and months to get an rma they are terrible and someone on here said 3 of hteir cards with them died and they wont touch them again. terrible service, thats why ocuk dont sell them.

I would deal with the company i bought it from, not the makers of the card, ive had a few XFX cards in the past and never had a problem with them.
