Well that's nice performance, especially since the GT is stock.
Those that are considering SLI for the GT's may want to check out the review below, the GT's own in SLI and it also shows just how close the GT is to the GTX in single card configs. If i was not on an Intel chipset, i would do SLI In an instant.

Seems to be quite a sweet graphics card for the money! Which can only mean that the old GTS's will be pretty cheap to pick up soon on MM
thats what i was hoping. i hope they will be under £100.
Yeah the Corsairs are great PSU's, highly recommended on here, anyone asks what PSU, its always Corsair, the 450 will easily handle the GT as its got 33a on the 12v rail, and the GT wont need anywhere near that, the box of my GT says minimum 400w PSU, with a 12v of 26a, and im running a 520w PSU with a single 12v rail at 28a, and its powering it fine, also powered my GTS fine which uses more power.

fwiw at the minimum end of power range - I'm using an Enermax Liberty 400W here with no problem.

Too bad it runs like crap.
Exactly the price i was thinking of for the 640 GTS, £100 to £120 max. I would think that Even the GTX will be sub £200 mark going by those results.

Installed the card today, I'm loving it so far, takes up much less space in my case compared to my dual slot 1950xt.
Been on Crysis and the editor a fair bit, crysis at 1680x1050 all high execpt post processing on medium, runs very smooth. don't know the FPS exactly but it's plenty smooth enough for me.
Just been on UT3 (real reason i wanted to upgrade), 1680x1050 max detail settings, and it never budged from 62 frames a second on a 34 player CTF server.
I'm very chuffed
