I take it there's been no update as to the availability of the BFG cards Gibbo mentioned last week? It's unfortunate that his original thread had to be closed after numpties started prattleing about MSI's being available from a competitor. To be honest, I prefer the warranties of BFG and EVGA cards which is why I haven't placed an order.

Just swapped my GTX for my GT and yes! Crysis is running better as is TF2, performance issues are gone well chuffed.

Gonna stick my Accelero on in a minute, I had a nasty shock when I turned my PC on, the card squeeled loads because I forgot the PCI-E power cable.

Very impressed, made 80 quid off the old GTX too.

I have no idea, it's been like this for a while.

On ctf_fort my GTX dropped into the 20's believe it or not, my GT was well above 50 in the same place.

Haven't even reformatted, I just swapped them over and installed drivers and that was it so it can't have been th OS being dodgy.

Tried everything to get my GTX running normal but it wasn't having any of it so this has been a very worthwhile move for me.

...now to get used to this sensitive razer mouse.

The GT should also no beat your GTX in anything, though it should come very close.

Oops.

I know that should be the case but can't really complain can I.

One huge relief is I now know my PSU isn't being strained (as much) GTX was pushing it to the limit big time.

If the GT is on Pre Order still then you wont get it with your other stuff unless they wont ship your other stuff untill the GT gets in stock.

Besides it only needs to last until the 9000 series are out.

Grrrr whats the ****** point in paying extra for sat delivery when all they do is ******* put a card though the door and not knock.

Only just noticed the card 20 mins ago, i have rang up the depot but its too late for collection Ive had to change re delivery to tuesday, as theres no one in the house monday..

I was trying to hold out for the GTS but my 7900GTX is starting to die more and more and I have a LAN next weekend.

On the way !! are you sure, all GT's on backorder, highly unlikely you'll get it for next weekend.

I was hoping to get mine before next weekend but i've been told it may be at least 2 weeks.

btw, what model did you order?

hehe, I know the feeling, has happened to me before

even worse with DHL as they use home couriers who are just ordinary folk like you and me who turn up on there own with with your parcel whenever suits them. They even travel by bus !!!!

Bugger some numpty with my new card sitting on a bus. A possible victim for the odd junkie .

It's absolutely appalling that after the shoddy note through the door without knocking that you can't even pick your own bloody parcel up over the weekend. It would be good if OCUK could have a word with the company about receiving a better service for their customers as they throw a lot of work for that company.

I cant see that happening if you ordered from a major online store, if it is the case tho I'll be avoiding everywere that uses DHL

tehnicaly Royal Mail use the bus, I worked as a temp postie and we had to catcht he bus. We wern't delivering parcels though.
