Yeah that was just a quick pic i took as i had to start the game again as i had to re-install it, was just about to start to rain there to, as it got cloudy. :p

Have a weird problem with Tomb Raider Legend mind, i think its a driver prob though, when i load it up with the next gen content on, i get like flashing faint orange &, $, % etc... signs flickering all over the screen, so i went into the display menu and turned the next gen content off, put it back on straight away, and its perfectly fine after that, weird. :confused:

Mind you saying that it looks poo in next gen mode, looks to blury, and theres hardly any colour, everything looks washed out.

I rekon its a driver prob though, as everything else runs and looks sweet as, im using the latest 97.92's btw.

From reading this thread I must say this card looks impressive. nVidia have pulled one back on ATI, the boys in red (or is it green now?) will have to deliver the goods (no doubt they will) when they release their R600. Was going to upgrade to one of the 8800GTS but my X1900XT-X will serve me for a while longer yet.
 
This card looks great for anything below 1600x1200 (1680x1050) with AA/AF and TRSS (Transparency Super Sampling), but the 640MB still has a great pricepoint if you wanna hit 16xAA/AF with TRSS on 1680x1050 and higher with upcoming games.

The sliced in half memory is definitely an issue if you run 1680x1050 with all the bells and whistles it seems from all the reviews now out. More so if you're on a AMD64, despite myself being on 2.8GHz.

Well i was a new monitor or new card so this is pretty ideal for me! Still loving my IIyama Prolite E431S!

Haha, i get that too often. I've decided however to put off my purchase till nVidia get their heads round Vista. I sold my 7900 GTO the other day after installing Vista, but the 8800 320MB doesn't seem enough for me at high res, so i'm buying a 7300 LE instead for £20. :D

With it being my final year before I get my degree, it'll allow me to concentrate on my exams and final project too. My g/f will also appreciate the extra time i'll be giving her instead of on the battlefield. ;)

Not wasted my man, productive :) At least you had stuff to read before you get it ;) I had nothing on friday so think of how i felt :eek: wasnt even seein my girlfriend that night so I was................

Also it was before 12 delievry and came at 11:45 damnit! Least I had all saturday and sunday to enjoy prior to release

Iv said earlier it doesnt work mate ;) U need to set it with another program! I used riva tuner then I sorted just clocked on ntune and tested each setting!
 
just ordered mine :D BFG version cos there warranty and clock speed.

I hope it clocks well and fits in my case. Cant wait :D

No more SLi problems lol, hope 8800GTS 320mb is compatible with GTS 640mb so SLi in the future would be nice
