Nice, I'm a big fan of air cooling so for me its been Noctua NH D14 - NH D15 since forever. hopefully it doesn't interfere with the mobo's VRM cooler.

only just getting back in 2 computers last one i built was a athlon 64 so so thought i would go water cooled so are the Noctua NH D14 any good what temps do you get with what your running now

Try 3866Mhz stickd then all can do 4K. On a 4 dimm board you need great Imc to go over this.

3200Mhz is fine. In my testing 3600mhz c16 8Pack dimms gave the best results. Anything above this is really diminished returns unless you tune lower timings.

All pre binned always no matter i7 or i9 are delid with thermal Grizzly Conductanaut. Which is LM with better properties over many thermal cycles.

My binned 8 pack 8700k came this morning . Just need a motherboard now. Have to wait until next week. I like the hero, but it cost a lot more then I though. Looking at the Giagbyte gaming 5 or ultra gaming?

Its in store 500 quid for 5ghz 600quid for 5.1 and 800 quid for 5.2.

Gigabyte should be fine if you dont want to run mems too high. M10H is a better board though.

Thats the price of the CPU in the box. Youre paying 100+ quid for the delid and around an hours worth of benchmarking etc for stability. Was only 50 quid more than what was being offered for the 7700k binned cpu's
