i play this once a month now

, maybe in 10 years i will hit last rank LOL.

I still want a new BF2. where it takes 1000 hours to rank up high

Can anyone shed any light on why this doesn't work:

"G:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +modPath mods/PR +ignoreAsserts 1 +szx 2048 +szy 1152 +fullscreen 1

It changes the game to a weird 13xx resolution?

After I applied the 1.4 patch it now says version 1.1.2963-795.0 in the game, is that correct?

Edleake the command I use is:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Oh just noticed thats the command line for project reality ... sorry man dont have it to cross check.

Does +widescreen do anything? I am running widescreen fixer to get correct aspect ratio.

Tactics and Teamwork

Is full most evenings, if not there are plenty other servers to choose from. Your best bet is to join servers that have members of that community online, which ensures an admin is available should there be problem players! (much less of a problem than vBF2)

I can't play my beloved game without being Kicked.

I played 6 servers tuther night & got kicked from them all before the 2nd round ended.
It used to be that somebody on the server knew me & confirmed I am no cheat but these days the old Vets don't seem to be around. I wish people would learn to shoot or at least watch a Dude a while before accusing him of cheating & kicking him.

You should try the gotland 02 city maps only server. Ive not encountered any nonsense there really and even though theres vehicles, its mostly infantry as it runs sharqi, mashtuur, karkland and jalalabad.

Same here, Im about 1500 points away from my 2 stars promotion, but I've been a Colonel now for about a year, due to inactivity andtrying to find decent people to play with.

I still only really play at 50K when the server is populated, even though its tiresome, you can still get a good game there and play with some old buddies.
