Damn thing doesn't even get to the main menu on Vista x64 for me, crashes to desktop after the screen going blank/changing resolution a few times

Tried running as admin/XP compatibility but no go.

Ah well, back to revision

o Changes made to both the J10 and F35B to make them more balanced. Please note that the J10 is a superior dogfighter to the F35B and as such these two aircraft will never be equally matched.

I have problems believing that, even if it’s true with both side only having 2 aircraft on the one map how the hell they going to balance the maps.

Seems a lot pf people are interested in what the Beta shows , probably gonna get my stats wiped for this but WTF :

Loads of little hidyholes to camp when playing infantry but it needs to be played on the 32 and not the 64 player map for Blue Pearl Infantry .

When is this due out?

I have no problems running on Windows 7 other than PunkBuster kicks so I am surprised to hear some people have problems on Vista.

I played it til 3 this morning, had a great round on the new map - constantly changing advantage. Widescreen support works fine and it seems to run a lot better for me on vista x64 now. It was always a bit jerky before but now its 100FPS+ solid

Apparently you don't need your BF2 CD in the drive to play anymore either.

Yup, works fine without the disc in the drive, hopefully they add that to 2142 also.

Since no-one else is complaining of this, I'll assume it is not a common problem, but I seem to be dropping out of servers less than a minute after joining. I don't get any kick notice or anything, it just goes back to the server list. I've tried updating PB but that hasn't helped. Any ideas?

There where about 25-30 servers up when I last looked. There where quite a few on Karkand, but I didn't look to see if they where 64 man IO ones.

Hey, I would really really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

I installed forgotten hope 2 a month or two back, and since then I have been unable to play bf2 vanilla.

Has anyone else had the same problem? And if so how did you get around it?
