They could have easy kept the game running as proven by the dedicated team over at revive . What they want is everyone to move over to the newer rubbish battlefield games so they can milk us with add ons and dlc etc . The servers are still running now but the downloads for revive and the games have been removed from the site , A few servers have issued statments on how to continue playing if revive goes down.

how can we play on severs without revive. can you provide me with some of these instructions please. I hope we can still play.

Had a couple of great games last night on Karkland. Despite being team leader and no-one on my team using a mic, the commander was still talking to me and I was giving orders via the map so we were working as a team and ended up winning a very close game 2-0 :)
Still (i think) the best game of all time. Just the way it plays and the dynamics make it almost perfect

What servers are you playing on?

Defo the best game of all time, well maybe 2nd best game off all time, I think Quake 3 is my personal GOAT game.

Yep, Revive Launcher. You can even download it and use a key from that site. The only thing is you can't get your old stats back (I tried) https://bl2142.co/downloads.php
