Try the NRNS server . It's modded and run by a good bunch of guys . It's unranked but no one cares about rankings in this game anymore due to stats padding and cheats

YEah played for NRS a few times... Believe it or not I love playing for rank and medals. Its been such a joy to rank up again!

I got all my medals before The gamespy shut down . Think I got nearly all of them but there isn't a way to check

Only two classes are needed to play for team mates... The rest are lone wolf BS.

1) Medic, second unlock, G36C or what ever its called.... The bullet hit point is about 30% down the iron scope, slightly snap the mouse in the direction they running while slightly moving down to account for recoil.... Also, if you've got the drop on someone, take a knee then hip fire from any distance for a near 100% hit chance. ALSO PANIC FIRING WILL SEE YOU MISS EVERY SHOT... Shoot........shoot....shoot

2) Support, PKM for all round acc 2nd unlock, RPK on middle east side is OP as has a higher rate of fire..... Also this class is the spam nade classic.

NOTE: On your mouse map the two side buttons to weapon 3 and 4 for easy access between.

Yea I did notice a couple of threads about servers, I wasn't sure if it'd affect account servers or not. I'll just have to be patient! Cheers

G36C was my choice weapon too.

Am I missing something or is there a way to turn ctrl for crouch into lock/hold instead of toggle (I don't want to hold my finger on ctrl when i'm in crouch mode all the time)

How do you shut someone up if they are spotting enemy every second? I tried going into the menu and turning sound off next to someone and it made no difference.

I ended up resorting to turning my sound off!

Ah classic BF2! There is a way in localization files... Not sure how tho.

I dont think this is possible not as far as I know anyway. You guys would hate me as commander then lol. I love spotting boats, enemy jet, helicopters, tanks and kitchen sinks lol haha

2600 hrs...uzidirtbox....45,000 kills as an aviator. Rank brigadier general (3star).

The hardest achievement was expert knife, 18 kills in one round and you needed skill to use the knife and not simply just press a button in close proximity. Players today would simply cry for a nerf.

There will never be a bf game as good as what bf2 was.

could not agree more, bf2 is epic beyond belief. I used to love the AB knife and shock servers. Shame I never made any videos and upload them to YouTube.

Yup totally!!

This is a true story.... I spend weeks and weeks trying to get 7 kills in a round, it got so bad that one night I was digging my mrs in the back trying to get the badge haha!

The only way another BF would be great is if they had exactly the same level of ranks/medals..... like people needed 500 hours in a jet or something stupid like that..... Should be a qualified pilot in RL by the end!

Im loving working through the ranks again! Tho struggling to get my repair badge

Sad news today battlefield fans . EA has basicaly shut down revive and thus ending the game for good . The revive guys were sent a letter from EA asking them to stop distributing and using their intellectual property. A message on the revive discord page says they are respecting their wishes and thats the end of revive .

It sucks. Can't they just enjoy that people are still enjoying the game that they no longer have the time to support? I guess they worry if people play this good battlefield, they won't play they crappy modern ones
