Who are these "many" you keep stating as fact? When's the last time you were actually in an abortion clinic? I'm guessing many times and quite recently to have such inside knowledge of the situation, how they work and the kind of people who use their services and for what reasons?

The NHS is a very big organisation. Unless she works in a Sexual health/abortion clinic, or as a GP doing referrals then I'm not sure how that's relevant?

Baby killing is wrong.
I am pro life.
There are certain situations where abortions are a valid option, such as a rape victim or a badly handicapped baby.
HOWEVER...
The last thing we need are young girls committing suicide because they are pregnant, young babies being murdered because the young mother can't cope and doesn't want anyone to know. like what happened in Catholic Ireland.
My comment referred to the many that use abortion as a last line of contraception, and many do. How reliable are the facts and statistics? Many of these young girls wont be being honest.
It's a very unpleasant complicated situation, you can't even say each case should be considered on it's own merit as many girls would die of shame rather than admit they are pregnant with an unwanted baby.

Some frogspawn without brain function or being able to feel pain is not a 'baby'.

Sorry, I thought you meant they were going for the morning after pill, since other than that there's no logical reason for people to be queuing outside one on a Monday morning - especially not for an abortion.

Also, depending on the circumstances, you don't actually need a referral for an abortion anyway.

Maybe if people considered what they where actually doing in the first place? (Sex).

If you do genuinely believe that's a typical abortion, then I can totally see why you're against it; I would be too, but that scenario is very far removed from reality.

At viability. 24 weeks. Before that it's a either a parasitic relationship or a mutualistic one where they both benefit (i.e a wanted pregnancy).

what is the relevance of a Monday then? you are intimating it was after a drunken Saturday night fling at the weekend in which case they would not need an abortion
(morning after pill is not actually morning after despite the name but 3-5 days - not that we have ever needed one, we had to go the other way as it happens and spent a boat load on IVF!)

surely you are not throwing the morning after pill in with abortion? if you are then ..... I think that is wrong. but if not then again what is the relevance of a Monday morning if not you saying it is a "walk of shame" to the contraception clinic

As to the ruling yeah on balance it's about time they gave each state back the ability to ban abortions if they choose. Nothing stopping a woman from either moving or just travelling to the closest state should they wish to kill their baby. Or you know don't have sex.
