Afghanistan - 20 years on

Ok you made it up then

Or you just parroting something you saw on twitter? - seems to be all Trump cool aid types saying it but again no evidence

"One of the fighters is heard claiming there are five military helicopters at the airport, and several jets."

"KABUL — The Taliban have released footage showing captured US-made Afghan military helicopters at Kandahar airport, until recently one of the most important US bases in the country."

And you did know that Biden the terrible. Told the troops to leave at night with out telling anyone and switched off the power.
The Afghan commander only found out when he got up.

Thanks for posting a link confirming that my suspicions that you are not very good at identifying helicopters
That clears up the issue - I accept your apology

Yes I agree that the way the US left Bagram was poor, undermining moral and confidence of our Afghan allies - although I suspect it was a choice made with US force protection at the top of the list of priorities - it damaged the ANSF at a crucial moment.

Once again posting a link that refutes you're own comment.

The Taliban have captured a few Afghan military helicopters, most of which don't work. No Apache.

Got a link please?
Can't rmeeber her name but rep senator on BBC this morning. She literally said Biden should have followed Trumps plan. She was told this is down to the day and date of Trumps plan. She then said nothing was set in stone and it was a framework of a deal. Lol
So we go them taking deon the deal made, to trumps deal was good if they did what his deal was to their was no deal just a framework. Pretty soon it'll be Pence never met the Taliban.

Yeah they're the disabled helicopters mentioned by the state department, not apaches either

Isn’t the hypothetical issue of leaving modern equipment like Apaches, drones etc. behind that the Taliban could in theory sell them to someone else who could reverse engineer them to improve their own capabilities.

There isn’t actually any danger of them being able to utilise it for their own needs let alone keep it flying.

The bigger issue is actually things like night vision, scopes, explosives and other small arms which they can use in any future insurgency. They are relatively easy to maintain and use.

All this stuff is the second rate export version.

So anyone interested has already got them, apaches are nearly 40 years old

The USA won't be leaving their own grade avionics about
