Age of Conan

So seems someone on the Fury server has already hit lvl 80 (obviously a few hours ago). This seems to have brought out all the "omg its so easy to level" crowd who are obviously blaming funcom :rolleyes: Im only level 26 so can't comment but so far the levelling pace has been fine although i'd like to hear other peoples opinions.

His played time was 4 days and 7 hours btw.
 
quick search came up with this on UI's

as for the leveling pace. it was part of the game description from the first time i read about it that leveling would be fast, to get players to the "end game" zone where more high level fun can be had, and to cut out the grind of leveling that destroys so many other mmos
 
you do level much quicker than other mmo's i've played (only really CoV and Planetside) but i don't think that's a bad thing. i suspect a large part of it has to do with guild cities, you can only get them from 40, crafting also starts late so people needed to rush to get them. saying that i did see a 65 last night on a horse, that's the highest level i've seen in game.

Well thats what i have been doing, havent seen a bonus from anywhere yet?

Although on the xp bar it does show a number, and thats the number of kills you can do with some sort of bonus???
 
Stupid question but when do you choose what server you want to join as i created a char this morning and woke up on the beach but i dont think i ever chose what server to join?????

And is there a way I can just logout back to the character selection screen, rather than exit the game?

Each time I change between characters at the moment, I'm having to completely exit the game which means skipping past all the cut scenes again :rolleyes:

When you selected the slot to create a character in (the bit before selecting male/female), on the right hand side of the screen there was a bit long list of server names which you could also select from.

I had to manually make sure I'd selected Daegon as it wasn't the default.

I ordered AoC from a large e-retailer (not the rainforesty one) just wondered if anyone knows what type of delivery they use and do i actually have to be there to sign for it? or will they just stick it in the letter box?

It was despatched yesterday so i hoping it will be waiting for me when i get home today! fingers crossed.
 
Im going to be buying this after work. Class that interests me is the bear shaman however ive seen nothing mentioned of them on forums. Are they rubbish/good?

how have you bound weapon switch to a mouse on your razor mouse? i tried ingame binding and it wont let me bind a mouse button to it.

edit** i didnt no there were boobs in this game :P

RE: Free Trials

After receiving my game today through the post, it turns out that every CD has enclosed within a leaflet that gives instructions on accessing a 'guest trial key'.

This trial lasts a total of 7 days.
 
I am trying to resist the temptation to purchase this today at lunch, but this thread really isn't helping the situation.

I am currently enjoying LOTRO so not sure if I will get the time to play and enjoy this, but those screenies do look nice.....STOP! The temptation is getting too much!!! Plus, its a 3 day weekend so lots of play time......

Argh...Lets see if I can hold out past lunch, I shouldn't be buying another MMO...
 
Might be interested in a buddy key. Beta did not fill me with Joy but Lives performance seems a tad better :)
