Age of Conan

Im still finding the combat/movement system a bit clunky.

I mean i know you use the hotkeys to swing your weapon but you have to use the mouse to select specials, so how do you move as well at the same time? grow extra fingers?

You have 3 of your fingers glued to the hotkey buttons and your mouse selecting the specials and also moving you forward, so how do you sidestep and move back and side to side
lol , im glad I was born with 6 fingers

Jk :D

wont be reading all 27 long pages of this, but have read some reports that some laptops are struggling with this, would mine be ok? 4gig ram, core 2 duo 2.5ghz, 8600mgt gfx is dx10 but a low end one.

your laptop is pretty much a better spec than my actual pc (except 8800gts) and I can play but there is slowdown in crowded areas.

Did the game come with a 10 day trial for a mate? like you get with wow?
If any ones willing to give me the key I would be most greatful

Fatality.

It's an okay game but I don't think I'll continue after the 30 day free month I don't particularly like the setting and preferred the humour/world of WoW, will continue playing it but I'll just wait until the new WoW expansion, if new servers come out with it I'll reroll with some friends, if not I won't bother. :)

If anybody is wanting to play this game I might put my username/game up for sale in members market within the next few days and sell it for cheap.

Yes it does, but it's not active yet.

I tried to register mine for a mate today, but when I login and apply for the buddy pass it tell's me that the servers are too busy at the moment and that I should try later.

I can understand this as the games only just gone live, but why include it in the retail packages if they're not going to honour it yet. Perhaps they should have held the buddy pass leaflets back for a few months.

Found this place tonight called "Fight Club Arena". Unfortunately I was the only one there, other than the NPCs.

Looking at these screenshots, the graphics don't even look good IMO. Maybe it's one of those where you have to actually play it to be able to appreciate it.

Is it worth getting this? I've got a spare 30 quid and some unwanted games to trade in at the station ;)

I think it is worth getting. I have not yet got out of Tortage so I do not know how my system will perform in these areas. I have a lvl 18 barbarian though so should be out with a couple more hours of play and will report back.

I personally like the game, it is one of the more polished MMO games I have played in recent years since WoW. The combat system is different enough that I believe that on some level combat skill will play more into it. I think the combat may have more legs than that of WoW, but time will tell with what people end up doing with it.

It is true with the combat that you do not have enough fingers, but neither does your opponent, so it will just be who is the quickest with it.

On the whole if you like MMO's you will like this as it conforms to enough MMO standards. The new parts you will either like or not and the only way you will know is to part with your cash.

Putting my copy up for sale at MM, don't see the point in playing anymore as I'm definitely not keeping it after the trial. £10.50 is a tad too much for the amount I'll play.

Is a credit/debit card needed for this?

my damn account is just a cashpoint only job now, but i fancy this game
