My only concern is cleaning the AF300/400's upper bits where the fan is situated. I haven't looked at any YT dismantling guides yet but I hope it is somewhat easy to clean as mine is gathering a bit of grease etc in the first drawer. Sausages don't half make a mess!

You don’t. Ninja specifically advise against cleaning the fan/elements. The heat will take care of anything dodgy.

You can actually invalidate your warranty by attempting to clean that area.

I specifically meant the outer top area surrounding the fan. Yeah I certainly wouldn’t touch the element or the fan blades itself.

I did start watching a YouTube video of how to turn the annoying beeping off tho

Well I suppose you could turn it over and wipe as much as you can off with a soapy sponge and dry with kitchen roll, but that’s about it.

Yeah it's well annoying. The guy on YouTube just cut the beeper out. I was hoping it was just a few buttons and it would turn it off hahaha.

Well i caved and got a Cosori 3.8L Air Fryer.

Was keeping an eye on prices for ages hoping for a "sale" to happen.

It is a very compact model, footprint is not much more than my slow cooker.

Will be giving it a go tonight with some frozen chicken and chips.

well just contacted amazon .. 30 mins on there messenger app .and this one is going back with a new one arriving before 10 tom .. they tried to refund .. but i said no and told them it would cost me £30-40 more to replace and asked them for a discount on a ninja .. so there sending me a new cosori tom .. lets hope they checked there codes cause i will kick off if they din't ..

I emailed Cosori and just received a reply. They said the recall was only for USA/Canada /Mexico and Europe models were fine.

Hmm I need to grab a decent dual zone fryer for my mum. I don't want to splash out on the 9.5 dual zone Ninja that I have so I'd prefer something cheaper. That Instant Vortex twin drawer for £199 looks nice but its a bit more than I want to spend.

yep same code .. wonder if it's something to do with there 120v system where ours is 240v ?? but got a new one .. happy
