Sorry, battered fresh fish from the supermarket. Frozen works well too.
OK, that makes more sense. Pre battered/breadcrumbed "dry" items work well in an air fryer, but for fresh, wet batter you really need hot oil to work the magic.

Wet batter in an air fryer, I can only imagine, would make a hell of a mess as most of the batter would get blown off and sprayed aroundAre you talking dipping the fish in wet batter? I understood that was one of the things that didn't work so well in an air fryer.

looks good. I dont know if your air fryer is similar to mine, but I would suggest using the bake setting instead of air fry if you have the option.I'm tempted to give it a go with the silicone trays and a wire rack to get it off the bottom.
This will probably just one of those 'Challenge accepted' times, but could be interesting.
Beer Battered Air Fryer Fish!
We adore this air fryer beer battered fish. Super flaky and buttery fish is coated in a light and crispy beer batter, easily made in the air fryer in under 15 minutes without any deep frying. It's so delicious served with our flavor slaw and tartar sauce!www.howsweeteats.com
Ha that’s me and by all means address me directly Yes the name bothers me but I am aware of many people who think it actually is a type of fryer! Otherwise we wouldn’t have all the can an airfryer do this type questions or the shock and joy of someone who finds an air fryer can cook xyz foods, which to be fair makes up most of this thread so yes there’s a huge misconception. Some people do seem unable to let go of their feelings about the name, although I'm not aware of a widespread belief that the device is anything other than a small convection oven. The big difference being the smaller size and powerful fan enabling the air fryer to heat itself up and cook food much quicker than a traditional size oven, saving time and money.
If you are cooking meals for (say) a large family then a traditional oven may well still have its place. But these days many people report that after buying an air fryer they rarely think about using their old oven.
Do you get people constantly asking for advice on tanks though or do you take it upon yourself to offer? If the latter I’m not surprised at their reactionAnd that is why I spend most weekends standing outside the Tank museum (Bovington) informing the crowds that these are tracked vehicles used mostly in anger and are not septic tanks, fish tanks or lagged tanks.
In between being called horrid names and being told to pizza off I now and then hear a tank you, you saved the whole family making a massive mistake and costing us a lot of money.
And don't even get me started on Jellyfish, Starfish and Driveways...
You get now get airfryers that also use microwaves to cook food fasterAnd if you look back when I’ve previously suggested these are just another oven it has surprised some people. So if it’s ok with you I’ll carry on the education
At least Trading standards won’t be after themYou get now get airfryers that also use microwaves to cook food faster
They are sold as "combination microwave ovens"
