Airsoft ??

had a look at firesupport? seems a little cheaper than you saw... that is if i looked up the right thing? firesupport are not always cheapest but they certainly have most bits and bobs you could think of.

you can usually make a big saving by buying from hong kong, i guess it can be risky but i've received all the stuff i've ever ordered with no hassles.
lots more choice to: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessories/pistol-slide-barrel-body/for-tokyo-marui/index.html?limit=all

Thanks :). I think i'll also have a look at HK stores as well as i do order a lot of other stuff from there and have had no problems.

Is it ok to order slides and other parts if i'm not part of an airsoft club? I cant see why it would be a problem as the slide itself doesn't replicate a real gun.

Loving that glock . I'd say black or silver barrel would both look good. If you went for a black slide then a silver barrel looks better, just to add a bit of contrast. Thinking of getting a black slide and silver barrel myself.

i think you would have to read the site's FAQ's. when i bought the glock from HK they wouldn't ship it without my UKARA number (but it was the whole gun). some shops don't care what you order, but it's in their interest for customs not to seize it so some are more careful than others.

I'll have to do some reading then or maybe email them.

Looks like all the cheaper $60 slides are out of stock on that HK store so not in any rush.

Any other mods that are worth doing while its in bits? Would I need a different recoil spring with an Alu slide?

Just remembered this thread,
Currently im usign a CA SLR105, solid as a rock, and i got a 2nd hand JG AUG for 55 quid which was a bargain!

Currently skirmishing at hilton park.
But there is a site in cheshire which is non profit so the green fee is non existent except if your a non member when its 5 pounds.

Yeah, but I don't know how many, which is why I'm interested. Could be hundreds regularly or a few videos over a thousand.

Cheers! I think I'd rather pick up a decent used model than shell out £££ for a brand new one. I'm totally new to this, though.

From what I have been told you need at least 2000 subscribers and 500,000 total video views to be considered. Not sure how true this is but from looking at most of the people who are in it, they have lots of subscribers and views.

Reading through this thread is so cool!

really want to do this :(

Anyone can do it, providing you are above the minimum insured age of the site you intend to play at. You see all ages, races, genders, varying levels of ailments from asthma to asperges to heart defects, they all enjoy it in their own ways.

It's a lot easier to stomach if you have a friend interested, someone to travel/play with. I've never been at a site where there hasn't been at least one person willing to help out someone new. Not everyone mind, some people you have to wonder why they are stealing your oxygen.

If you play somewhere and it's not for you, there are other sites with different terain, gametypes, intended audience and communities.

For the comment of buying second hand a couple of posts above, in my experience you have to be very careful buying 2nd hand airsoft gear. I'm by no means elitist, i buy second hand gear/weapons but not off of someone i don't trust. Seen enough stories and been burnt on trades to exercise caution. It's like anything, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. A bit of research will easily show who is a respected trade on any forums and yo ucan go fro mthere. Having said that a lot of stuff you buy new can turn out duff, if you look at the various manufacturing 'facilities' they are generally assembled and in some cases machined, by hand often without any attention paid to greasing or lubricating of seals. So you takes your chances.
