Airsoft ??

There's a great skirmish site here on the Isle of Wight called Island Recon. If you find yourself over here for whatever reason and you fancy some cqc set in a large woodland area... look no further!

Airsoft has become a really big hobby for me. Not just skirmishing but fixing, upgrading guns and pistols. Lots of fun but sometimes painful!!!

Recently invested in some molle gear and pouches... much more fun when you're not worrying about stuff falling out!

I have a GR15 Raider and I want to lengthen the barrel, mainly for looks (this gun isn't skirmished), but also because my Gemtech Madbull silencer doesn't quite have enough room to seat perfectly as it is.

Curiously upside-down photo, but you can see how short the barrel is:

This is the bit I want to add:

not sure if the chinese "metal" used is all it's cracked up to be :( removed the front grip of my mp5k and the end broke off where the front sight attaches.

Where did you decide to try then?
Got a few guys up Bradford working with me who want to get into Airsoft.

Stear clear of Cerberus in Silsden near keighley, this was the last place i played in the UK before moving here. There are safety issues at this site, Marshalls firing weapons inside the safe zone, they had 30 of us inside a crater on the side of a hill we were dead and waiting for the game to end and the marshalls threw 2 bb grenades into the pit at the end of the game. The next thing i know after burying my face into the ground to avoid the BB's is my leg on fire at the ankle. One of the grenades had gone under my leg before it went off and set fire to my BDU's.
Truely the worst site i've ever played at. :(

That one above makes me want to start airsofting :( Have you got any more details on it? :)

bottom line it's a King Arms m4 cqb variant, not a million miles away from these i guess: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318_396&products_id=5978 http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/King-Arms-DPMS-7-COQ-Silenced-Airsoft-Rifle_A103KV.aspx?nh=1 http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/king-arms-troy-cqb-a3-compact but with a lot of changes internally.

needed it shortish for the cqb, my AK is a touch too long indoors. swore i would never buy an m4 but for customising they seeem hard to beat.

Cheers for that P_A_N_I_C. I'm hopefully going to be getting a game booked next month with my brother (also on here) to see how I get on with it as it's always been something I've fancied doing just never took the plunge and committed to. Shall let you all know how I get on :)

My latest Airsoft purchase :)

KWA LMT Defender 4 S.I.R:-

After I added all my extra bits and bobs onto it which I picked up at the same time, it looked like this:-

The additions were:-

G&P RIS Foregrip
G&G 30mm Red Dot Sight
Lonex 360rd Flash Mag
Strike Systems Red Laser & Torch + Pressue Switch

It was shooting VERY hot to start with, 390+ so the guys in the shop downgraded it and it is now firing a nice and consisten 340-347 fps which I have been told will decrease after a fair few mags have been put through it.

Stu

I have a G36c, bought it ages and ages ago.

Its fine with a non-high cap mag on full auto (at least seems that way) but with a high cap mag it seems that it doesn't feed so well.

Issues possibly? Probably the mags are just awful?

I'd love to get into skirmishing, I just dont have the time to do it :( stupid baby + job + training for army >_<)

I have the film & TV defence against section 36(?) of the VCR Act. It's a prop for filming. I also have a few springers and a shell-ejecting CZ75.

Hopefully its just that, I just thought my gun was being terribad but I never got to use it on a skirmish site. I really should give it a go as I know I'd love it. Im pretty sure it was ok on the one mag I got with the gun :)

I also have two Berettas and a "Smith and Wesson Sigma CO2" is the first image I found online of it without me going into the loft and checking what it says on the side. Mate also has a M4A1 that he's left here for me to look after :)
