no, it wasn't with a iron, basicly i got it, and the component was still there, but it had melted, i literately touched it and it fell of the motherboard, and there was black marks all around it, i don't think it was burnt with a iron i haven't touched it with i iron :L

Yeah, it is, for some reason i must have misread it or something i was under the impression both slots were x16, i had it lower so air would be directly taken from the bottom intake fans directly to the gpu, and also i think i cant use the pci2.0 x1 slot if ussing the x16 slot, so if it were x16 it would be used for the gpu, yeah, thanks for pointing that out
yeah possibly, but i will figure that out when temp monitoring and messing about with fan configurations.

What would everyone's thoughts be on bottom mounting the psu, well i say bottom mounting the psu, what i really mean is bassicly flipping the whole chassis with the to panel attached to what currently is the bottom and the bottom attached to what is the top, it would mean the motherboard facing the other way though, and would cost me roughly £50 in supplies (excluding paint and harware)
Edit: this would also take switching the drive bays around due to a lump of cnc.
but bassicly the only thing id need to but is a dremel, and a few bits for it, as my mums boyfriend is a builder he has countless amounts of expensive drills and beltsanders.ect

reverse atx cases do look good, and since your psu is currently at the top, you have the added benefit of having the psu at the bottom
just get your pc up and running first though
i certainly will, and anyway, it will be a while before a start modding this case anyway, or at-least till Christmas when i can get the money together for a few new tools like thread taps (to replace the rivets with screws) a dremel a countersunk bit, and then there's going to have to be paint, witch means i may need to get a new spray-gun (i hate cans) some good quality paint, primer and clear-coat, and then there's braid, and any new hardware ill want to put in it, so it will be a long while

... and for no i think im going to change my fan orientation, i had a brainwave the other day, rear fan= intake, will push air towwards the front and to of my case where t will exhaust,but... should my bottom 2 fans be intake or exhaust ?

thats 1 front intake 1 rear exhaust 2 bottom intake one top intakethe 120mm from my nero and i have another 3 fans on the side pannel

Mine was prime stable at 4.0ghz on a titan fenrir evo, just for reference.
I have the Akasa Nero S, it looks far smaller then it is, and is probably around as good as the titan fenrir
Should have bought that chip imo, probs cheaper and better. -_-

okay, well my cpu hasnt arrived yet, but im doing last moment preps such as dowloading raid drivers, putting my ram in the blue slots (better for ocinc) putting my 5830 in the x16 slot, and so fourth,, just killing time before i get that knock on the door sometime later (hopefully)

yeah, i guess, or atleast till i get enough to mod it,i has a suspicion it work arrive today though, you absolutely sure they dont wait until the payment is fully secure before dispatch.
And most courier company's dont deliver after around 4pm, so ive got 1 and a half hours of hope left
