Just give up on RAID0 for now, especially with old drives. One dies then poof, everything gone

The real world benefits are minimal. I'd use the drive without the broken clip as a boot disk (make sure you dismantle the array, swap to AHCI then unplug all but one drive) then try the other when Windows is installed

as xp goes, i dont have a floppy to load the drivers, and secondly it bsod's when loading windows

cant see it in ide either.....
time to start trobleshooting... starting with ym lian li drive hotswap

Edit: good news it istn my £40 hotswap bay :L

yep, there in bios... not in the windows setup though

okay, ive tested with a ide hdd, and it shows in bios, not time to see wehater it will show under windows install :L

EDIT: windows show ide drives... :/

yeah, it does, its working now, or i got one disk out of the 2 recognised in windows, it may be my hotswap bay, tommorow i will take it apart and have a look

im am,minimal setup... windwos files coppyed but are taking a while to expand :L

Mr icute shot a ball of fire and i died..
Nahhh just kidding, ive been up since 7am trying to get the running windows...
So last night i left you with the fact i had managed to find it under a windows set-up... this was not AHCI, this was ide mode, but it stuck on zero for ages so i went to bed, this morning, ive tried raid again, and also tried AHCI, but ive found niehter work so will have to Sacrifice permanence's in ide mode with sata hard drives untill i get a new motherboard as this one seems a lil bit *bricked should be the polite way of putting it.
Anyway, so im running a install in ide, but my second copy of windows 7 is a lil scratched, therefore it give me a corrupted file error,m and at the moment im tearing my room apart trying to find my other x64 cd
