Akasa Eclipse 62's Club... Desktop & Machines.

Yep its a bit of a strange one, 3 different heatpipe designs for the same memory kits, the ones im using (in pic above) seem more reminiscent of the reaper x hpc ram, still though its extremely good stuff.

Just seen your edit lol, nice clock on em, i currently run mine at stock speed, 1066 2.02v (my p5q deluxe overvolts by 0.08v on ram) gonna have a crack at eeking a bit more out of em.

:) - the only problem with that RAM is its very hard work to install !

1 pair is difficult, 2 pairs is a nightmare !

problem is nowhere to press down as you can't press on the top otherwise you'll crack the heatpipes ...

just installed 2 sticks of OCZ Reaper HPC (2x1gb) - to add to the 2x2gb already in there

it was very tight - and very hard to get them in - but working perfectly at low-ish volts at 1100 MHz - I love this RAM as it runs very cool and is very stable

Cool pics of memory M8.. Good to see any more pics of your build ;)

Will have to stick some pics of my akasa's latest incarnation, black and white sharkoon fans all round (kama bay fitted) and fan controler in one of the 3.25 bays, this case continually amazes me with the space it has, got a gtx 280, doesnt clash with the bottom hard rive bay (which i have 4 hdd's in) fitted a 3 hole mobo tray for cable tyding, i cant think of a case that can do any better, the only way i can consider improving my eclipse, is to change the colour. (thinking metallic blue).

Thats it for now or untill i find something else to waste my money on, i've taken out that IDE cable & replaced it with two SATA cables. I'm trying out a Antec SpotCool System Cooler not to sure if it makes any diffrence but it looks kool in blue.

I'll do a nigthtime picture later.

probably been asked and answered before but i havent poked my nose in here for a while now. Has anyone had any luck sourcing the omega panels individually, not too fussed about the door but the top/side panels would be nice. Just wondered if akasa are taking the hardline approach they did at release to prevent people effectively upgrading their eclipses to the omega?

I don't recall a hard line as such. Jerry just said that there were no panels available yet. I may drop them an e-mail tonight as it would be handy to have the pre-cut top panel for a 120.2 radiator.
