I'm planning on getting a Eclipse and would like to fit a Thermochill PA 120.2 Radiator as shown in the picture above.

1. I presume a 120.3 would be too long to fit inside due to the psu?

2. Would a 120.2 fit in ok with the added depth of a ThermoChill PS120.2 Performance Shroud

3. Can I ask what you used to cut the hole?

Thanks

ThermoChill PS120.2 Performance Shroud

Elevates fans from HE120.x core surface by an additional 40mm to further reduce noise and provide more even airflow distribution across core surface area.

Am back to normal now done a few minor alterations as well

Also have installed the hdd on rubber grommets i have had to pull apart/bend a tiny bit the cage so i can fit these in made a huge difference to the sound reverberation

Will do the floppy drive bay which i have an ide hdd in with an akasa hdd cooler
to increase airflow from the front intake it's basically totally unblocked and dvd tomorrow the grommets are from this nexus case quietening kit

My Seagates are damn loud in my Eclipse, I'm going to nick the rubber grommets from my Super Lanboy and move both one of the HDDs up into the floppy bay like you've done I think. Should help the airflow no-end.

Is the akase HDD cooler quiet + effective?

Getting a scythe kama bay in black also but what i will do first
is place a 120 mm fan in the 3.55 bay and see if it has any effect on my temps
if not i don't think i'll bother.I have found that the drive in the floppy bay without a cooler attached can rise quite high.Mind you i am sitting here at 3.2 ghz stock volts all round on a 6420 @ 24c idle not sure i need additional cooling.
it depends what gpu you have also a long one can act as a wind plane and the air goes under the card straight out the back.
Btw anyone actually use the plastic air duct that comes with the eclipse?

Where did you get grommits...

Oh you can buy black hard drive grommets from a well known high street store i didn't know you could at the time and was mugged into getting the nexus quietening kit.

Look up the specs of the nexus ones and you have your size needed
depends where you want to mount personally i like the holes in the hdd cage the slots are hard to find grommets for.Looking for around 9.5 mm circumference
4mm center hole so 10mm and 5mm center probably good enough.
Mine are 9.5 mm circ 4mm center where the screw goes and 4.5mm the middle lip part.Has made a vast difference to hard drive sound.
