Akasa Eclipse 62's Club... Desktop & Machines.

Hmm ok thanks, how do I take the connectors off the end and attach them back on? :p

to take them off there are specialist type tools or use a small screwdriver, there are 3 small slots on the fan connectors, push down inside the slots to release a little catch and the wires pull out, to reconnect them just push them back in :) just remember which one is which :)

Hex, did you get the E mail from me ?, thought you were doing a bottom rad mount.

Yeah m8, I replied, did you not get it?

As for mounting it under the base of the case, that was the original plan, after much deliberation however I decided on the front mount, which turned out rather well.

Reason I didn't go for the floor mount in the end is that the case will be on a carpeted floor, and the rad would get dusty and fluff caked in no time :D

When I come to clean out my setup i'm going to adjust the hose lengths a bit as I didn't get it quite right (hence the pump is so far back in the case), as my original plan was to put the pump near the front to the side of the rad setup out of the way of the mobo. Alas it didn't turn out quite like that, but I now know for next time :)

Hi Mate, Your reply, never saw it .

Your right I dont thnk the bottom rad (under the case) would work very well on carpet.

How are your Temp's.

It has come out ok :), good to see people trying different installs to everyone else.

What GFX is that, looks like a black pcb just what I need for mine.

Doh, stupid e-mail, was just along the lines of thanks for all the info and much appreciated :D

Manged to get 3.6 out of my quad now, at 1.45V load Prime95 temps of 60/60/57/57 which I am very happy with as 60C was my goal :) Was getting high 60's with my TRUE with the CPU @ 1.4325V 3.5Ghz so a nice improvement!

The card is a Zotac 9800GTX (I know! but I got it for super cheap) and it is indead a black PCB :)

Entire setup cost me ~£100 which i'm delighted about, must say i'm very impressed with the XSPC X20 Delta V2, obviously I have no point of reference having never watercooled before, but it seams to be doing a cracking job, and for only £28.99 it was a bargain! (plus it looks cool as hell, not that you can see it in the pic i've taken DOH!).

Thinking of moving the drive cage from over the top of the CPU to down by the side of the Rad if there is space (think it might just squeeze in).

And I need to make some sort of grill for the FDD bay as atm it is just a hole letting fresh air into the top of the rad.

All set up at last :D

Looks far better in the dark all lit up with UV, but my camera won't take a night pic for toffee :(

Nice build M8... ;)

Late update on mine, had to go to Spain for 10 weeks, the sun was calling :).

PC is all set up on air with xp installed to test components, before I fit the water cooling.

Still a few cables to sort out, but most are hidden ok, hard to believe the pic is of a fully working PC@3200

Setter your old e6600 chip went straight in @3200 at 1.25v
