Pic's of the rad install are back on page 32, near the bottom of the Page.

Cable tidying is made easier by the fact you can hide a lot of them between the MB and rad,+ keep components to a minimum :).


Right I need a vote on Red or Black for the water system.


My first choice would be black pipework with chrome/stainless steel springs over the pipework, that would look the dogs, problem is I cannot find anyone who supplies any springs like this.

Blood red would be my second choice, any one had any experience with this colour, what did you use ?.

Need to sort this out before I transfer my Quad and water cooling setup over into this case.:)

Sorry to go abit off subject but ive been trying to find you SETTER as im interested in your e6600 oc setting and temps as we have near enough the same rig. Is there a way you could share them with me?

im afraid i dont have the 680i/e6600 combo anymore. and unfortunately i never took note of the settings that i had used.

If you want propper dark blood red (not crap that comes out pink) then the only thing you sould look at is:

Yeah that seems to be the path i'm going to have to take also, just would have been nice to buy some pre-made efforts, instead of me having to use my less than stellar modding skills :D

Yeah the 5.25" ones will fit, but I need 3.5" ones.

I've ordered some mesh anyway, so i'm going to give making some a go.

It'll either work brilliantly, or fail miserably :D

let me know of the outcome . i would get some and try myself but i dont have the time right now.
 
Anyone got any good tips for hiding the big bunch of cables that come from the front pannel?
 
Hi Hex, ty for the info on the PrimoChill ICE Blood Red, but cant find anywhere with it in stock:mad:

Cable tidying the leads from the front panel, your best bet if their going to the bottom of the case is to use Paxmate, and hide the cables beneath it.

Can someone please confirm that a Tuniq Tower 120 will fit?

I know the Eclipse is a couple of years old now but for keeping things cool and after looking at this thread it seems to still be a great case especially that the Tuniq Tower will fit.

I bought a Lian-Li PC-B25B and the Tuniq Tower is a no go :(

Oh well...One for the bay.
