Alan Davies comments

I can only see this thread ending badly. Nobody will agree what is right or wrong.

The only thing that I think we can all agree on is that Davies is a terrible comedian with hair like genital fuzz.

I personally don't believe Liverpool should have a choice. They should play whatever dates they are assigned even if that includes the 15th. By refusing to play on this date it does affect others.

And if you read the post of mine that you quoted and responded to, you'll see that Liverpool are playing on the date assigned to them. They were neither scheduled to play on the 15th nor asked to not play on the 15th.

You seriously think any of those I'm going to hazard a guess and say teenage brats would have the brain power to let alone find Alan Davies but actually do anything?

Can't imagine it's hard to find him, given his online schedule and all

I was more thinking that if some student can get 56 days jail for posting insensitive racist comments on Twitter, you'd think that posting death threats on Twitter takes a special kind of special person..

Not to mention that he's due to play a gig in Liverpool in September etc, it's not hard to imagine some Neanderthal doing something stupid - to be honest I'd think a nice little visit from Merseyside's finest with a gentle reminder that Twitter isn't the anonymous free-for-all that they thought it was would be an appropriate response.

I'm sure the majority came from 'fans' outside Mereseyside, maybe I'm wrong but I like to think some of the decent fans in the city have a bit more nouse about them, although I guess the worst are situated there also.

I stick to my point, probably too thick to find him.

The memorial service is just starting on LFC TV (Sky channel 434). Maybe those that don't understand the importance of it to the families, might want to check it out and maybe they'd understand better.

It's not the first time he's said something both offensive and idiotic, the reason why it's different than a grand parent dying is because of the lies and propaganda spewed out at the time by both the newspapers and government and at the end of the say 96 people we're killed, (some may argue man slaughtered by incompetent policing who quickly moved to make sure they covered their own backs by spreading lies about drunken fans and dedicating on their friends dead bodies)
A lot of ignorant people say Liverpool fans feel sorry for themselves because of this disaster (amongst other things) I say as long as they know the truth they are entitled to their opinion, but the sky news and sun generation can't begin to understand and comprehend it untill they know the facts , justice for the 96, ynwa
Some things are beyond football rivalries and politics, like 96 fans killed simply for being in the Wrong place at the wrong time

Its had me in tears. I didn't know Kev Williams well. He was a year above me in school but we had many mutual friends. At the start they showed all the victims and a massive amount were youngsters.

Ask yourselves the question. "If your son, daughter, brother or sister had just died would you want to know how? or would you settle for just being told they are dead?"

Woe, woe, and further woe. AD got one thing right. Dalglish is a ****. The sooner he's gone, the sooner Liverpool will play some decent football again. Chances of Dalglish being gone any time soon. Zero. King Kenny. Hallowed be thy name. Hopeless. I think AD must have been hammered though. Real dumb to talk about it in that tone. But Kenny will woefully battle on, until Liverpool are a solid mid-table team. And then woefully, he'll do what's right for the club. He'll resign, and there will be woeful commiseration from the loyal Liverpool faithful.

I dont think hes said anything that I've not thought. We could make 365 days of the year a 'non play' day if we go down that route. Problem with Liverpool is that they think they are the only people **** happens to. Not like Ibrox, Heysel, Valley Parade.....

And no doubt come the 25th anniversary we'll have weeks of wall to wall coverage, unlike the above disasters that got about half an hour air time if that.

Has there been a conclusion to all those you've listed above. Hillsborough IS still ongoing.

No the city of Liverpool as usual think they are the only people that have a hard life and want someone to blame. The above realised they have to move on as difficult as it is.

You obviously no NOTHING about what happened at Hillsborough, And about what has/hasn't happened since.

You should have a read up on Kevin Williams and imagine thats someone you love. See if you feel the same afterwards.

Some people in here are really clueless, in fact half of you don't seem to post in this sub section ever, really embaressing posts going on.

Also Stewy I believe they rejected it as they felt he donated for the wrong reasons, to save face which he probably did.

i shouldnt be surprised by the unbelievable stupid and ignorant comments that still appear from people thinking other disasters are exactly the same as what happened, but like i said earlier, the sun and sky generation know everything, and if its people older than that then they really should be ashamed of themselves, its not just the fact they are ignorant of the facts, its that they post as though they know the ins and outs of the "down troden liverpool fans attitude that has served them well to feel sorry for themselves", it however doesnt surprise me one bit given that ive had to direct many people to the facts, thatcher, murdoch and the police from the time flung so much mud that a lot of it stuck

ah well, as good old albert once said, only two things in this universe and infinite, the universe itself and mans stupidity (and im not entirely sure about the former)

justice for the 96
