I want a new Max Payne. That's very overdue.

With today's modern graphics a new Max Payne would be epic.

Just did a Google and there seems to be a rumour that Max Payne 4 is indeed in development.

I guess in this instance it sort of makes sense, Epic stumped up the money for it to be developed and they are also the publishers, so in this particular case its not really all that different to Portal 2/Half Life/Alyx only being on Steam

At some point, the worst possible company will acquire Steam. It’s not if, it’s when. Gabe might not sell but nobody lives forever.

I read that Gabe has safeguards in place so that would never happen realistically.

Tried to give the remaster of the first a go again a while back but it still has the game breaking graphical issues, no workaround.

Wowsers, a 4070 for 1080 with medium raytracing for 60fps. Theres certainly been a jump in PC spec requirements this year, looks like I'm going to have to consider getting a 4xxx series card soon.

I won't be buying this (because: Epic) but I'm pleased to see the CPU requirements aren't bad at all given how much of a CPU hog UE5 is proving to be. Remedy should really be licensing out their Northlight engine.
