Alien: Isolation...

no dont think it is bud, cant tell any noticeable difference to be honest :( both cards are only pootling along at 50% and only at 50c lol..I want to add some serious layers of eye candy but the game just wont let me lol..Have so much graphical power here going to waste lol

And I'm forcing it through RadeonPro

I have updated drivers to 344.11 and only one of my GTX670s is being used.

Does SLI work in this game? (not that its needed, I get ~100fps with 1 card on 98% and the 2nd card on 0%)

By the way. The FOV slider in this game controls the vertical FOV. Unlike every other game which controls horizontal FOV. Therefore a vertical FOV of 59 is on par with 90 horizontal on a 1080p screen.

Personally I'm using 55 so we can still see a body.

Just a quick question. How do I recharge the stun baton or is it only one use? As it says 0 in the ammo bit but thought it used to say 1. I usually try to sneak past the androids so haven't had chance to test if it has unlimited charge yet.

You need a charger, not the same as a battery! ;)

OOOHHH!! It's blood weird isn't it, I do completely nunderstand the sickness people are feeling at default but found 65 to be as high as I could set without warping in the screen edge.

I had not experienced actual fear in a game up until now and my heart suffered severe setbacks yesterday lol. This title is worth playing for that reason alone IMHO.

Does anyone else find the Synthetics to be more unnerving/outright terrifying than the Xeno?

Payed the money and must stick with it, but for the most part so far appears to be overly linear console based rubbish...

Hope I am wrong (and I am a major Aliens nut - I even loved Prometheus!!)

Was very sceptical about the game but I picked up the ripley edition for £25 so currently giving it a bash. Have to say they have nailed the atmosphere from the films and the sound work is astounding.

The motion tracker makes me fell all kinds of nervous, the rumble on the pad doesn't help lol!

Also hasn't helped that I watched Alien and Aliens on blu ray in the last two days!

I'm not sure how you can not be enjoying it if you're and Alien fan, they've got the atmosphere spot on. Just wandering around the station with the lights flickering and disturbing enviromental audio was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had for a while.

And I quite like the Chromatic Aberation, it adds to the atmosphere. I just wish I could sort out the horrific aliasing but there's no way to downsample this on AMD is there?

Can't downsample here on nVidia too because of my gaming resolution. Can't pick a custom res higher than 3440x1440 to downsample from as everything above that nV CPL complains is not supported!

At least the jaggies are minimal at this res though.

Despite the film being horrible, this game reminded me more of Alien: Resurrection than the others.

Had a quick go of this last night, love the atomsphere in it! Didn't get anywhere near any alien part of it but just waking up and walking around got me all into it.

Triple Screen works well on it, doesn't test the GPU that much.
