Alien: Isolation...

First death to the alien about 6-7 hours in. Got caught out in a corner, froze hoping I'd get away with it... nope... revolver to the head...nope...start to run... nope.

But in Skyrim a text description appears in lieu of it glowing...It's not much different.

"more realism" would be picking up everything with no description at all.

Visually I would MUCH prefer the text. AI has both- the ugly glow and the "press E to pick up" or whatever so that point is kind of invalid.

What is the price difference?

The Ripley one comes with the two extra missions based on the Alien movie, fun to play but if it is a lot more expensive then you may want to save the cash?

the ripley edtion is same as the nostromo!
i have the Nostromo edtion from GMG which cost me £24 and it both has Last Survivor and Crew Expendable same the ripley edtion!! dont know why game has done that?!

So I had to sneak past a room full of people. The alien had not appeared at all in the section I was in, so I figure he just isn't in this bit, though I can still hear creepy noises and stuff. Anyway, I throw a noisemaker in order to distract the NPCs so I can creep past then suddenly the alien drops down from a vent straight on to the noisemaker right next to one of them and kills him. I duck down and hide behind a crate hoping he won't see me, as the other NPCs(about 4 of them) run off down the corridor, terrified. I snuck in to a vent and started crawling through, all the time hearing screaming and gunshots. When I leave the vent, there are 4 dead bodies and a lot of blood right next to the area I was trying to get to, and the alien is nowhere to be seen.

Awesome game:cool:

Ok. I have a friend attempting downsampling with an AMD and he's had absolutely no luck. He's gone through registry hacks, driver adjustments, random software tools, even had a point where his system crashed and ended up booting in a resolution which couldn't be displayed.

I know the method has been around for a while, I even used to see folks playing Borderlands using Downsampling so it's strange that there isn't more information for AMD users.

He grabbed me from the vents below in that section... I felt like Newt when the Queen was pounding about. In my next attempt he ACTUALLY CAME INTO THE VENTS!!!! I didn't know the Xenomorph could do that so it scared the living **** out of me when I turned around in the dark and spot him crawling towards me.

(I'd consider that a major spoiler because I was blissfully unaware it was possible untill it happened)
