This is the worst GAME I have ever got.
The game is stuck on XBOX mode, all the controls are "HOLD" and all that crap.
If you have a Joystick plugged in, remove it.
Fixed the issue for me.

Just done the first mission and played a few rounds of multiplayer. My first thoughts it's kind of cool because it's Aliens and there's not a predator in sight, but what really hits me are the bugs, poor AI and is it me or does this look older and poorer graphically than AVP 2010?
I don't regret buying it but so far I would say AVP 2010 is a better game, Just hope some major patching occurs as I've also bought the season pass!
Also after playing the Crysis 3 beta this does look very old, would love to have seen what Crytek could have done with this.

Nearly everybody has said that it was going to be awful.
There seems to lots of people that come into any thread where a game has been a let-down and seem to think that they were the only ones that saw it coming.

Just finished the entire game in one sitting and can I say just one thing...
I can't bloody wait for the DLC!
That game was freaking awesome, and 10x better than AVP2010 (and I enjoyed that game too) Sure it has it's faults, fps drops for a few seconds after every checkpoint and the cut scenes could have done with a bit more polish - but it was still a very enjoyable experience!

Yup, AVP 2010 looks much better especially the marine parts, actually really loved the marine missions especially the night club level with the pole dancer 
, the disco lights flicking on and off etc. Sound was awesome too 
hmmm, might reinstall that.....it looks like it has a lot more atmosphere to it than what this new one does. Multiplayer for it was pretty good fun too, shame it never really took of though.

sums it up nicely, it took them six years to make this game, jesus did they just spend the entire development budget on beer and hookers, with enough left over for the WarZ devs to paid off to make the game.

Lol. Remember that funny walking Alien that put so many peoples backs up? Well its not a bug. Its just a type of Alien that you encounter in the sewers. Its supposed to be like that. None of the other Aliens are like that. These Husk Aliens don't even attack you so long as you stay still if they move, they move for a bit slowly walking then freeze. If you walk slowly past them most of them stay frozen. I don't know much about them yet as im still playing through the game.

Holy crap these sewers. Jumped outta my skin on more than one occassion. God damn this game needs surround sound headphones turned up loud for full effect.
