They are basically self destructing Aliens. They respond to any sound. So when you walk past them in water you might set one off. He's basically a frozen shell. If you make a noise, you set one off they wake up and have acid spots all over them. If you continue to move after they have awoken they dash towards you and explode killing you instantly.

Holy crap these sewers. Jumped outta my skin on more than one occassion. God damn this game needs surround sound headphones turned up loud for full effect.

Well in light of their purpose in the game, what they are designed for, It works. Its not a typical Alien, so there's no problem. Now ive seen their purpose in the game i can have a good laugh about the big deal made over it. :D

I know like me you're a big Aliens fan, Don't you kind of think it's a bit insulting to make a Xenomorph move like that? Would never happen in a movie for sure.

Insulting? No its a computer games take on what would happen after Aliens.

They play such a small and insignificant part in the game that really its a fuss over nothing. Just another excuse for prima donna's to ruffle their feathers.

There are other Alien types in the game, adds some variety especially for multiplayer. If there was only one type of Alien it would be more like the film, but that wouldn't help the game.

I think its good that you have to battle, cope and adapt to different Alien types, makes it more interesting. I have to say battling lurkers with only your motion tracker and pulse rifle on ultimate bad ass is enthralling stuff.

I don't mind there being different types of Alien but regardless of what type it should always be terrifying and agile, that is surely the essence of a Xenomorph. I really never wanted to see one move like a drunk/Zombie and be on object of fun!

I'm not saying the whole game is bad but I'm not going blindly say it's great and blinker myself! If enough people complain then they might just fix it up (fingers crossed)

Btw anyone else get their Season Pass code from Greenman Gaming today?

It is scary as hell. They are frozen statues and are dead silent and so are the surroundings until you disturb one and when you do they hiss so loud. I literally skidded my under wear on multiple occasions. Glad to be past them now, one of the creepiest levels ive played so far. If you don't have a decent set of surrond headphones up loud then you're missing out on a game like this.

I'm not saying the game is great either, i know it has flaws some of which ive mentioned previously, but this is all a fuss over nothing in my eyes.
