Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

Could be because the current Nvidia driver still doesn't support the QF for the lowest refresh rate with GSYNC, it's still on a future driver update according to the GSYNC page

Looks like I won't be getting a new QD-OLED until future AWs support this new hardware.
Is Gsync ultimate even relevant for OLED? In hope it flickers less with VRR?
I mean if it would allow 240Hz BFI, that would be great... But nothing mentioned about that

Yes as it significantly reduces VRR flicker especially at lower FPS range i.e. below 70 fps. Also, 30-60 fps is much smoother and less latency in my experience with the gsync module.

This is probably the only small problem with the monitor. I am playing Elden Ring DLC and the game is capped to 60fps by the engine.

It does feel a little bit different to my old monitor which had a gsync module. Nothing major but I've had to get used to it.

I can come pick it up today. £600 is my final offer

Was not ready for it yet. No rush anyway. I just enjoy asking you each time you have a complaint about the monitor :p

It's funny because it is a huge upgrade over what you had, yet you don't seem happy with it.

I am happy with it. It's just I don't think I've played a game that fully shows it off yet.

Neither Ghost of Tsushima or Elden Ring which I'm playing now supports HDR so as of yet I have never seen HDR in action.

You did not install a bunch of games to test out HDR as soon as you got the monitor?

At least try Cyberpunk or Horizon Zero Dawn dude. What the hell
