I'll finally be jumping on this bandwagon (32" one) later this month (Once I know how much I'm gonna get reemed for 2 cars servicing and MOT). Do we know how long the offer is on for?
Will be replacing my 49" Samsung Odyssey.
I'm planning on pulling the trigger on th esame monitor any second now. What is the best one to use? Also should Smart HDR be left on when not gaming?
Every monitor I ever had creaked basically, the cheaper ones more so.. I had a crappy benzq one where the slightest desk movement made it creak..Does anyone else's 32" monitor creak? It seems might creaks and groans as it warms up and also when it cools down, slightly irritating but not sure if I'm being overly sensitive...
Hi everyone, I’ve had my QF for a day now, having moved from a DW. On my DW, I would enable the ‘HDR Peak 1000’ mode before gaming. I am doing the same with the QF, however there are also Dolby Vision modes on this display that the DW didn’t have. What is the best one to use? Also should Smart HDR be left on when not gaming?
Finally, when the monitor is in ‘HDR Peak 1000’ mode. The available colour profile in Windows is ‘HDR True Black 400’. However when in standard mode, I have three available profiles: DCI-P3, sRGB and D6500. Which is the best profile to use in standard mode?
I have enabled G-SYNC for the HDR Peak 1000 profile in NVIDIA CP and set the refresh rate in Windows to 239.99 Hz. Can’t believe it defaults to 60 Hz!
Just trying to get my head around the best modes to use for what. The main game I play is Flight Simulator 2020, this has HDR 10 support and it’s enabled.
At first I was missing the ultrawide, however I am now getting used to the extra vertical space and higher resolution. It really is a beautiful monitor.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
just ordered me a AW3225QF and the stock markets paying hopefully no dead pixels, or at least be at the edge if there are any...
Honestly you'll be fine with modern OLEDs. They all have such good burn in prevention features now and the Dell lineup of Alienware models all have a 3 year warranty so even if it does happen you can send it back and they'll do a swap.Surely if you get a monitor with dead pixels you send it back straight away ?
I’m still too terrified to get OLED due to my iMac 5k developing brutal levels of burn in several years back.
