I'm using sRGB. What is creator mode, I don't seem to have that option? That in standard or creator mode? I've heard creator tracks the eotf better
Doubtful, it's quite a light curve. How's the curve on the 32"? Annoying or?
I checked my 27" model very closely when it arrived. There was marks on the screen when it arrived but they weren't scratches, atleast not on my panel. Rather than using a protective film on the screen like most manufactures I've bought from Dell are using what is is like a piece of bubble wrap taped to the front. Once removed there are some smudges left from where the bubble wrap was in contact with the screen. It's not really a big deal and they easily wipe off with the cloth provided by Dell.
My PG48UQ had a film to remove, but like you say maybe the QD has a more 'sensitive' panel to it. Although doesn't the G95 have one? I think it does.the stuck on bubble wrap cover seems to be the standard for these new QD-OLED monitors. Asus used it on their PG32UCDM too, and i assume it is something to do with the panel finish that makes the use of the stuck on plastic cover impractical or problematic. A few marks and smudges that can be easily rubbed off doesn't seem like a major problem, although my AW2725DF arrived perfectly clean
Samsung's own S90C has a film so realistically should be no reason not to have one, especially on the glossy panels could maybe understand on matte screens cause of coatingMy PG48UQ had a film to remove, but like you say maybe the QD has a more 'sensitive' panel to it. Although doesn't the G95 have one? I think it does.
This is the first curved panel I`ve had and you don`t notice it at all. How's the curve on the 32"? Annoying or?
I love the clarity of oled now, fantastic.coming from the Gigabyte M32U I didn`t expect the difference to be so marked but there`s no way I could go back to IPS for gaming now.
Got 3 year warranty on thatSo close to pulling the trigger on a AW2725DF but worried about burn-in as the machine is used for both gaming / work.
Yes it's really a step up from my previous monitor, which I thought was quite good but this knocks it out of the park.I love the clarity of oled now, fantastic.
Well this has a peak brightness of 245 according to Rtings review and that LG has about 180 iirc? So it is a fair bit brighter but not massively so...Issue I have with current lg monitor is brightness
I can't comment on the brightness as I always run monitors at 20/25% brightness and even with the AW27" I'm running it at 50% - but for the refresh rate I'm not sure 360hz is a huge leap from 240hz. I always played FPS games on a 240hz 1080p monitor and I did find that 240hz was smoother than 144hz and could notice if I ever swapped to using a lower refresh monitor.I have the lg 27 oled and wondering if this is worth the upgrade. Can sell my lg on a popular auction site to offset the cost
120 extra hz
