Shame Maeda nearly missed it.
Cracking player.

Cracking player.
Notice his starting position? I suspect that's where we'll see him at OT next season as well. Oh Fergie why wont you sign a central midfielder?![]()
Has Fergie definitely said he won't? Scholes isn't around for long, Giggs isn't up to it anymore and all we have left is Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher (if he ever comes back) and Cleverley (who is unexperienced) so I wouldn't be surprised to see him buy a CM. Either that or play Phil Jones there next season.Oh Fergie why wont you sign a central midfielder?![]()

Well if Nani goes....I really doubt we'll play him out wide. It would be monumentally stupid.
I'm not too bothered about Hazard. Yes, if we'd signed him it would have been brilliant but considering the runabout he gave us and the press about who he'd sign for I'm glad we've not signed the media grabbing tart.By this time of year we generally have a good idea of who Fergie's after as he likes to get his business done early, Kagawa is obviously all but done, Hazard's one that got away so unless we're working on something that the media haven't cottoned onto yet I'm fully prepared for just as you said Jones in midfield![]()
Assuming we were in for Hazard and had agreed a fee with Lille then there must surely be money set aside for him that Fergie can use if he can find us a midfielder to shore up the middle of the park for us.
Hmm I do see what you mean but really we have no proof that we were ever in with a bid for Hazard, just him and his agent saying stuff. I admit we probably were but we wouldn't be the first club to miss out on a player and therefore go after another one.Not sure it will work like that, personally I cant see the 30m which was presumably ready to spend on an winger/attacker just going towards a central midfielder instead. If Fergie's got a central midfielder in his sights (which one would hope just has to be the case) then it wont of been conditional on not getting Hazard, has to be separate (I hope).
Indeed. Just sign someone Fergie please.I'm sure we can find a central midfielder for £20m~ or less who would drastically improve the midfield. There are loads out there.
lol lets be honest Frank your opinion on Nani = unimportant
Not to mention you're completely wrong as well![]()
The Times says that the Brazilian star will earn £7 million a year at Stamford Bridge over four seasons and is willing to put in a transfer request to push through the move that works out at a cool £135,000-a-week.
The paper says: "Chelsea are yet to agree a fee with Porto and are thought to have set a ceiling of about £30 million for the transfer - taking the total cost of the deal to £58 million, as well as a lucrative bonus scheme - although Porto remain adamant that they will not countenance his departure for less than £38 million."
Chelsea plan to play Hulk and Belgian star Eden Hazard either side of Fernando Torres in a 4-2-3-1 formation that would also incorporate Juan Mata.
Hazard - Torres - Hulk
Sounds like a goal machine front three but will they play well together? Hazard and Hulk seem like ego stars.
John Terry likes his 4-3-3 though, can't see him changing the formation. Also where's Ramires on your lineup? He's currently your best midfielder![]()
We played 4-2-3-1 under RDM; think we only played 4-3-3 once the whole time he was in charge.
Forgive us, it's hard to distinguish formations when the whole team is in your own penalty area.![]()
