He probably wouldn't have any idea about whether Hulk was signing, I agree on Mata, he's Chelsea's best player, but the rest aren't that good. Certainly not better than Nani or Valencia.
 
The way it has been reported makes it sound like van Persie was being interviewed and asked what he thought about Juventus, on the back of an unbeaten season he's not going to come out and say they're rubbish is he! :p

I was saying the other day, ideally it would have been sorted out before now, but if he doesn't want to discuss it yet there's little Arsenal can do. He has already said it isn't about the money, he wants to compete for trophies, we can compete for trophies despite what anyone else says. We were in a cup final a couple of seasons ago and it was only a few years ago where we had a team which could have and should have won the league.

We lost Cesc and Nasri last year and ended up finishing higher in the league, it isn't all doom and gloom, we've signed Podolski who could turn out to be decent, our players all have another years worth of experience in the league, we're in the Champions League, we're not short of a penny or two and I'm pretty sure van Persie will sign an extention. If he doesn't then it isn't as big a deal as is being made out. It won't be the end of Arsenal, and if van Persie wants a good deal on a Bosman he's going to play out of his skin in the upcoming season which is only going to benefit Arsenal.

The same thing that happens on every game on FM12, let them rot in the reserves till they run out their contracts and end up at newly promoted prem sides...

Hopefully sell us (saints) De Bruyne at a knocked down price

Pretty much this, not worried about RVP and how the media as usual are spinning it to make it look like he wont sign for us. If anything we have him for another season, barring he doesnt get injured in the Euros and hes made it pretty clear that him, his wife and kids are settled in London.

Like you said, not much we can do if he doesnt sign a contract extension really. Cant force him to sign, all we can hope for is that he sees sense and sticks around for another couple of yrs.

and Kakuta! Kakuta & Be Druyne on loan, unless Kakuta is finished at Chelsea and is to be sold. It doesn't seem like he has progressed enough to even make a place on the bench.

Marin probably to be mainly used form the bench as he didn't have a great season following injury. As he known a bit for good dribbling and not enough vision it seems like he could be a bit of a wild card unless he regains earlier form.

The Hulk hype and rumour has bugged me since it started. I assumed AVB wanted him and thought after he was sacked that would be the end of it, but the rumour didn't go away and I figured agents + president of Porto were just fanning the flames in order to secure a big payday. With financial fairplay about to bite and Hulk's mixed reputation I just don't see why this is a likely transfer at ~£38M. If it was <£20M it might be a bit more plausible, but the story just doesn't go away.

No, what he said was in direct response to the question "why didn't you choose real or barca?". That's why he refers to them in his answer, obviously the Mail don't give it in context though because that would be too close for proper journalism for them.
 
Fantastic signing by Chelsea, I am over the moon and can't wait for the season to start now. Torres, Mata, Hazard, Hulk (hopefully), Ramires...we will certainly have a strong attacking lineup.

We have a perfect blend of youth and experience now as well.
 
The attacking lineup looks good on paper. Fair play to Chelsea bringing them all in. Makes the PL more exciting and challenging. Means we will have to up our game next season. Bring it on Chelsk! :p

Why not? At the very least Nani is Mata's equal and Hulk doesn't even play for Chelsea yet let alone proven to be a success :o

yep,fifa ultimate team mentality.They shouldnt even be in the champions league next season,6th place and in a champions league,makes a mockery of the game

i am not bitter we didnt get hazard :P
