Sounds like should both Utd and City agree fees with Lille, he'll sign for whichever team offers him the most money per week. So that's Man City then.

Interestingly, I checked Wikipedia to see which team Hazard plays for now, as I wasn't sure. In the main paragraph it says he plays for Lille. On the right hand side column, it says he plays for Man Utd. A cheeky edit by a rogue Wikipedia-er I reckon. :p

Current club Manchester United
Number 10

I think Rooney might have a thing or two to say about that! :p

Considering Rooney threatened to leave unless the club invested in talent to help the squad win trophies, I imagine Rooney'll be quite happy about it. ;):p

Maybe so! For some reason I don't think Ashley Young and Phil Jones were the kind of people Rooney had in mind! :D

There's a Daily Fail article saying Man City were showing Hazard around houses in Manchester the other day, but there's no source or basis to any of it so it's likely just their usual nonsense.

Unfortunately if Man City do really want him and it boils down to ridiculous wages, then he'll probably end up there as you say.

There are plenty of great players around though, so we'll have to hope Sir Alex has identified more than a few that he'd like.

Ferguson was watching Nick Powell at Crewe on Saturday, David Moyes was there too looking at one of the Aldershot players who missed an open goal. :D

Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are rumoured to be signing him.

True. But I bet he or his advisors thought of that when signing the new deal the Glazers offered him in return for squad investment. :p

I try my very best not to go on the Daily Fail site. When I read the BBC Football gossip of a morning I have to check the link for each 'rumour' before I click on it. But like you say it'll probably be a load of rubbish.

Yep. :( We just have to hope Fergie can find some players who want to play for Utd and not just whoever has the biggest pay cheque with their name on.

Yep. We NEED to sign players this summer. We've got a decent squad but it needs a few more top class players and a few seasons to improve and get to its potential.

Walcott should have became a sprinter because his control of a football is dog **** and running fast in a straight line seems to be his only 'skill'.
Does Theo still claim he's young or still learning at this level when he has a poor game and gets criticised? He's played almost 150 games for Arsenal (148 to date according to Wikipedia) over 6 years. If he still makes those claims, someone needs to slap him and remind him that he's played a lot of games for Arsenal.

Usually it's Wenger who reminds us how old he is, and that he's still learning. Theo has been **** forever, his movement is rubbish, his crossing is rubbish, when he tracks back he never actually does anything bar stand around with that stupid look on his face, he's just a terrible excuse for a footballer and there's no way he deserves anywhere near 80,000 a week. It makes me so mad that he/his agent thinks he's even in that price bracket.

And yet you know that should he sign for Juventus, the next time Arsenal meet Juventus he'll absolutely destroy you. :D:o

Which is what i said a few posts up, knowing our luck we will sell the guy to Juve and he will only come back in the CL and score a hattrick against us:(.

80K a week for a guy who has no footballing brain is truly ludicrous but Wenger loves him so will somehow manage to pay him that wage and probably in the process **** off a few players who truly deserve a pay rise.

Hehe. I was agreeing with you. :) I wonder what Wenger likes about Walcott? He's young and English?

That's the way these things go. :p
Yup. I like to call it the Football Manager syndrome. You sell a rubbish player to another team. You just happen to meet them a short while later and look who helps to consign you to a defeat? :( I don't believe Tevez did that for City against Utd. :o I bet I get corrected in a minute. I know he's scored against us but I don't believe he's scored in a game City have beaten us in, has he?

He scored twice in a 2-1 win for City in a Carling Cup first leg semi, didn't matter in the end as we knocked them out in the home leg. He won't be there next season anyway ;)

No I don't think he has yet Marc.
Phew! My knowledge of Utd history is safe for another day! :)

Yeah, even in that game they did beat us in I'd count it as irrelevant as it was a 2 leg tie. ;) He's spending the first months of next season golfing in Argentina again then? :p So that's Hargreaves and Tevez signing for City from Utd that haven't really gone as well as City thought they would. Oh bless. :D

No idea:confused: Seems like everyone but Wenger likes him...sure hes had a few games where he has been immense ie when we played Spurs at Emirates he did well but otherwise hes usually as useless as Steve Kean at Blackburn:p

Now THAT'S useless! :D Not sure Wigan would agree. They think he's the best manager Blackburn ever had. I wonder how much better off Rovers might've been with Big Sam still in the hot seat. Not that I care. Muchos gloating will now take place.

I can see Yakubu, Hoilett and perhaps Robinson leaving. I don't think they will want to play in the Championship and all three are easily Premier League level players. Question is if a club makes an offer for them, will they accept it or stay? I wonder how loyal the three of them will be to Rovers. If it were me, with the manager and owners as they are, I'd be off like a shot.
