I don't think the rivals for fourth spot have strengthened though. Arguably we are slightly better around the pitch. Santi is miles better than Song. Wilshere will be back soon and Thomas Eisfeld could be the real deal. Chelsea, United and City are Top3. Liverpool? Massively weaker I think. Tottenham too. Newcastle very similar position as to last season.

Next year I hope for everything to come good. Should be debt free and have new Kit sponsors both for manufacturing and name on them. Combined that should give us about £50m/year extra to play with.
 
Feeling disappointed with newcastles activity, but pleased we have kept our big players!

Could be worse I suppose, could be Liverpool hahahaha
 
LOL Dempsey such a whore lol...how many teams was he linked with??

Saying that Spurs made a good signing in him and Lloris...don't think the Moutinho signing is happening though.

I wouldn't go that far. Defense is pretty much unchanged, we're much stronger in midfield and it's only really the balance of our attacking options that's changed.

Maxi was barely used last season, Kuyt & Carroll were depressingly poor for the most part and Bellamy was very hit and miss. They've been replaced by Cole (I don't hold out much hope for him), Borini, Assaidi and Sterling.

It would be fairly difficult for the incoming players to perform any worse than those that have left, the problem is the lack of players that can play centrally in a 4-3-3. We're down to 2 strikers + a couple of kids.

We've saved a few quid but I'm not sure we've strengthened.... unless Moutinho signs but I'm not feeling it. Modric was a massive player for us and Vdv was important.... I can't even comment about the King :(

Was hoping we would sign one more player but Wenger seems to think we have enough for our squad.

Just seems like Bender and Park have both gone on loans this season.

Just thankful that this year we did our business well before the end of the window a la last year.
