I dont know whether or not she is guilty but the whole case sounds very dodgy. I havent seen any conclusive evidence, mostly circumstantial and its very scary when a few people can decide conclusively they think she did from that.
And attributing behaviour characteristics as some kind of admission of guilt, you are in dangerous territory. Murders behave exactly as expected, doesnt mean they didnt do it. So for people to be thought of as guilty they must tick all the right boxes for behaviour characteristics in a time of crisis? What about Azbergers? Madeline Mcans mother must be guilty.
Her behaviour could be an indication of innocence she does not appear to be burdened or troubled with guilt. Some people feel emotions, but they do not outwardly show them or they show them in unusual ways. If she was the murderer then her behaviour borders on psychotic, with that their would be some past indication in her nature. But then if she was, she might know, or at least try to act distressed.
Lots of reasons, can be attributed to behaviour and the inconsistent stories. A person she doesnt care about dies(so she should feign distress?), perhaps she is trying to protect someone else?
I dont know maybe she is guilty, the jurors and judges must know better than I.
