Has anyone managed to get Aeon MQ6 working on Jarvis? I've only managed to install Aeon Nox which doesn't seem to look anywhere near as nice. I was hoping for this kind of set up but not sure it's possible on a AFS4k with Jarvis.

I have it installed on my Mac but its forced close a few times.
Not sure if its an addon causing it or the skin itself.

I'm stuck on an Android box to buy, pricing going up close to the Fire TV which I've heard runs Kodi very well

Any downsides to this over an Ms8 Plus for instance....

Ordered the 4k fire tv in the end, hopefully it will do the job well and has some future proofing

Brilliant box

kodi runs sweet on it , and ofcourse its the only android media box that has netflix , amazon, the rest of the wang bang stuff in one place.

Personally i would install SPMC rather then kodi. http://spmc.semperpax.com/ (due to optimizations for firetv)

Was about to buy the 4k box then noticed it has no sound output? Ok it has HDMI but how do you get sound out of it if your TV doesn't have sound. None of the screens in my house have inbuilt speakers.

Over the last 2 weeks my Kodi icon has vanished from my main screen and I've tried a lot of things.
Any ideas?

HDMI is the only option on the newer models.

The original box also had optical.

How do you get sound from sources now?

Does anyone put the Fire stick to sleep after they finish using it? Is it always draining power otherwise. It seems to get rather hot. Shame it doesn't have a proper standby button on the remote.

I noticed this on my Fire TV. Though, when I checked my Recent Apps list and scrolled along, there it was. So might be an idea to check there.

Is set up for PlexBMC same method, can't seem to get it working!

I have 4 devices and none are in there.
Maybe it's because I've put Paradox on!

Does anyone still have Sky Go working on their FireTV. I picked up the stick on prime day and have read mixed posts about getting Sky Go working.

I haven't given it a shot yet, but it amazon have patched out the workaround I cant see much point trying.

Managed to install the SNES9x emulator on my Fire TV 4k with a Gamesome front end. Just awaiting an 8BitDo Bluetooth SNES pad and I'm good to go for some easy retro run.

Does anyone have wifi issues with a Fire stick? I grabbed one on Prime day but it cant hold a stable wifi connection, get connected with problems every few minutes. Either on 2g or 5g. Amazon have sent me a replacement to try but from googling, it seems lots of people have this issue so I don't hold much hope. Shame, as its a great little device.
