Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

I'm happy with Amazon Prime. I mainly use it for both the delivery and price reductions on selected items.

Being able to use the Amazon Prime app is good to watch films and old tv series that come included in the price.

I'm a bit annoyed with the order I've made today. Ordered Friday and choose one day delivery = Sunday. I can't see it being a Black Friday rush problem because it's dispatched already and the courier has it. So it's just gunna sit in their warehouse for a day? I bloody hope not considering it's a delicate item and the courier is MyHermes.

I suspect its so they can truly "Guarantee" the delivery dates so there isnt a ton of folks moaning tomorrow. Many of my items have been dispatched and im aware some will show tomorrow

I think one reason many are happy with prime, is those who order to their work, as I understand it couriers prioritise work places, so they are more likely to get morning or early afternoon deliveries as they know if they turn up after 5pm then no one may be there. Whilst delivering to home addresses often they turn up in the evening.

MyHermes.

Whatever it was, it's confetti now mate.

I ordered something yesterday and I do like the same day delivery service, not because it comes quicker, but because its a 4 hour delivery window. Between 6 and 10pm.

Primes fine imho, items coming a day early than guarantee so i won't moan :)

I hate that, so you basically have a multi day delivery window, aweful.

Rather have a 100% chance of it coming 2nd day than it may come on day 1 or day 2.

Although in my experience if I pick say super saver on amazon's delivery page, they tend to still ship it next day but just "delay" the dispatch. Which is interesting as lot s of people claim early deliveries but in my experience they just deliberately delay it. However on those deliveries where they advertise next day but then dispatch it days later (quite common now) and on express deliveries where its a multi day dispatch, I have seen stuff dispatched and then take days to arrive. Amazon are starting to get very inconsistent.

Had 2 parcels arrive a day early yesterday, i don't mind so much as there is someone home all the time at the moment. The thing that shocked me was the delivery driver rang the doorbell and then opened my front door himself. My husband got to the door to find him putting the boxes in the hall himself. Didn't like thst. More of a complaint to the courier than Prine itself though.

Keep your dock locked then?

Didn't read the 14 pages, but I've never once had a problem with amazon. The other day I ordered 2 things at around 1-2am (when Black Friday deals were on) and they arrived before I even woke up at around 11:45am. I don't even have prime anymore and I selected the free shipping option, which should have been around 3-5 days. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
