AMD 6800 & 6800 XT MBA LAUNCH AT 2PM TODAY - EXTREMELY LIMITED STOCK!

The problem we're going to face is that the now oft-quoted "selling at MSRP in 4-8 weeks" isn't necessarily going to apply to the UK as we're going to be having all the additional fun that comes with the end of the transition period. I can see the prices on OCUK and elsewhere staying where they are now, if not going up, rather than down.

nah, gets demolished in RT, the XT is only just matching

As expected, the 3060 Ti's second-gen RT cores allow it to perform much better than its closest competitor, the 2080 Super, in games where ray tracing is used. The 3060 Ti also beat or matched the 6800 XT in two of three of our tests, underscoring the work that AMD will need to do to close the gap against Nvidia in Team Green's home turf.

Bought a 3070 from OCUK. Best part of a month later, 3 places advanced in queue.

Bought 6800 direct from AMD themselves, courier marked it as "signed for by 'my name' and delivered" three days ago....I absolutely did not sign for it, and no sign of it since.

Tried emailing AMD and got no reply, courier basically told me to take it elsewhere. AMD direct shop has no email or phone number. Complete nightmare. I literally have to ring AMD's magic catch-all number later today when they are open.

It's there any possibility of long standing customers getting any priority (dare I say loyalty) with the purchase of these new gpus?

You know OCUK... us old farts who have no interest in social media and who would not even think to look on twitter, where you posted your secret links to purchase the 6800 series.

Clever idea, but a big fu to many of us.

The question is... In this age of scalpers... Will I be able to buy a gpu before die? Will I ever get to experience ray tracing? How many years will I have to wait to be able to purchase a rt card?

What ever happened customer loyalty?

You should be able to lodge a dispute with you bank / credit card co. Wont help ya get the card, but at least the money back.

Dont suppose you have a ring doorbell? (Great for evidence of non delivery)

I'm sure by the time any become remotely in stock, we'll all be talking about the new generation of cards and moving towards that.
