I bought a Picasso the very same way.Since when does putting in a bid for an ongoing auction entitle someone to say they've bought the item![]()

If you rack up a certain number in a certain period it's account deactivation. Don't care though, I set up a burner account esp for this![]()
I managed to grab one of the RX 6800 cards for a total of £614.97 inc shipping to Ireland.
My payment method was via PayPal and looking at my Paypal account, the total in Euros came to €709.34
It seems like Paypal have charged an enormous exchange rate fee as when I use online currency converters the £614.97 can come to between €660 (Paypals online Exch Converter) and €680(Fxtop).
So I got an exchange rate of £1 = €1.15 , I made another purchase from the UK (similar shop to OCUK) with the same method and got an exchange rate of £1 = €1.10
Does anyone know if this is usual for Paypal Or is this done at OCUKs end?
Would it be possible to change the payment method after ordering?
Yeah, paypal does have poor exchange rates. Noting to do with ocuk, all done at paypals end. Wont be able to change payment method unless you cancel and make another order.
Log out, add some items to the basket as a test and note the price.I see what you are saying but at the same time the Paypal Online curreny converter exchange rate is £1 = €1.08 .. very different taht the €1.155 I got charged so I'm not sure what happened.
I'll ask CSustomer services if I can reorder the same card under a diffferent payment type

Login to your account that has a delivery address of Ireland and go to your basket.
The prices increase.(but are still in pound)
You then will pay a terrible exchange rate on the already pre increased prices. I think on £600 ilthe increase would be close to £5 before you do any currency conversion
It is done at the Paypal end, .............. Unfortunately you just have to 'suck it up'.
Yeah, paypal does have poor exchange rates. .
Is there a way to avoid the extra €30 charged by Paypal in future whilst still using their system?
Use a card that gives a better exchange and charges in in £ like a revolut or n26 on your paypal. Is there

Probably buy I just added it in for him in case he missed it as part of his conversions. This is possibly because Irish VAT is higher isn't it?
How do I "charge in £" on my paypal?Use a card that gives a better exchange and charges in in £ like a revolut or n26 on your paypal.
Look up Kor_wraith on you know where..
Here's your problem.. clearly using a bot and sells items he/she has dozens of the things amongst other currently rare items.
I have just also looked at forum members on here to find someone matching that user name on here and recently viewed pages (graphics cards)... Just putting two and two together but if correct.. Shame on you.
Edit: even more certain this guys the scalping problem we're having.. He's just edited his previous post (probably after reading this)
