AMD 6800 & 6800 XT MBA LAUNCH AT 2PM TODAY - EXTREMELY LIMITED STOCK!

My guess is that they are 'holding' adverts created during a £1 final value fee offer period which he will edit and make realistic once he has cards in hand.

Look at the cards he has actually sold so far - load of 3070s in the £600s

He's definitely making money but not actually that successful at getting the top cards it would seem

It's a new account with 4 posts... he could browse the forum without an account or just create a new one sadly

privileges could be temporarily set on certain forums/threads - just like how you can’t see the MM unless logged in and 1000 posts. Wouldn’t need to be that extreme, just something to avoid new accounts from being made to bypass being banned for this purpose.

Look up Kor_wraith on you know where..

Here's your problem.. clearly using a bot and sells items he/she has dozens of the things amongst other currently rare items.

I have just also looked at forum members on here to find someone matching that user name on here and recently viewed pages (graphics cards)... Just putting two and two together but if correct.. Shame on you.

Edit: even more certain this guys the scalping problem we're having.. He's just edited his previous post (probably after reading this)

All edited to 'dots' 20 mins ago.

if you look at the guys feedback he's actually only completed one sale,
there's a chance he did sell one that he had, then 'maybe' made loads of fake listings in order to run off with loads of cash,
that account only has 2 feedback in the last 6 months, one for the gfx card he sold*, and another from a seller that sells things for 99p delivered

*even the sale of the card he had might be fake, he could have 'sold' a card he didn't have to a mate's account just to get feedback from selling a gfx card,
that might be enough to fool ebay/paypal into releasing the cash straight away for any future gfx cards he may 'sell'
as normally ebay/paypal will hold onto funds if a semi dormant account suddenly sells something of high value until positive feedback has been given by the buyer

keep an eye on his feedback over the coming days/weeks to find out the truth i suppose
but it looks like a hacked account to me with all the listings he has

Use Revolut, they are way cheaper for exchange rates and you can keep Sterling and Dollar etc. in the wallet ready to go. Paypal are notoriously expensive. I bought the same card here via Revolut and it was over €30 cheaper than that.

Aye, I'll get Revolut. Thanks

There was a stock drop at AMD.com.

I managed to add a 6800XT to the cart and then got loads of errors on the payment section. Now it's out of stock again.

Just lol.

Congrats to all the bots and scalpers who bought one, or twenty.

What's even the point in talking about these cards. The whole experience of trying to buy one is so frustrating, the websites all crashing whenever you try to place an order...

It's seriously poor. How these companies can't get their **** together to code a decently resilient website and/or payment method.. it's such a joke.

If this is still the story in Jan I don't think I'll bother. If this is the absolute state of PC gaming atm, it's just not worth the time and the stress.

Yep AMD can't even sell their own products on their own site! It's just permanently crashed. What a year!

503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

Bizarrely, I cannot even connect on my desktop wired connection to get a 6800XT direct from AMD but on my mobile I can get a 6900 XT! I don't even want that, it's too much.

Same. Took a screen shot but appear to have lost of it me getting a 6800xt along with a free game and a 5900x.. All for £1041 which you can't grumble at.. Had to refresh a number of times and finally got through to 'complete purchase' only for captcha to show as timeout after a minute or so.. This happened several times until amd site went down. I was surprised how much cheaper things appear via amd direct... But do understand the reasons for this vs retailers.
