Lol.. the hilarious thing is I've signed up to their email notification but if you click on the email when it comes through, you can't actually buy the product. Instead you need to go back via the main website.

Not that I would buy at those prices but anytime something worth having has come up.. I get put into a queue and given a notice to tell me others have the item in the basket and it'll retry up to 150 times automatically.. Is this bots/scripts putting these straight into a persons basket?

Never managed to get it to work, but safe to say that whoever's got them in the basket isn't going to change their mind and release it back to let you grab it.

Its worked for me before on that site I got my 5600X there after a few attemps in the Que. Im after a 6800XT but at that price i wasnt going to bight. But they all gone now so desparate people out there.

It could have been just 20 cards or so they will sell out. One on Ebay for £999.99. Updated today at 12.24. Probably all went to scalpers.

Tried to get one aswell but no Joy. Really want to get a new card for Cyberpunk 2077.

Been on AMD cards for the last 3 generations as I do not like NVidia's buisness practice's but the 3080 is tempting then after what they did with hardware unboxed I decided no I will not give them my money.

Nabbed myself an Asrock RX 6800 XT Taichi for £739.85 over the weekend, from a competitor.

Just happened to be browsing as it became available for all of about 10 seconds. The only reason I was browsing was because my son wants a 3080 for his birthday in January and we were just about to have a look at the various cards and my browser opened on the competitors page when I fired it up (opens last tabs from previous session).

A tad more than I wanted to pay but with limited availability for the foreseeable future I decided to just go for it. The rest of my system is all Gigabyte so would have prefered one to match but hey ho, it'll do.

Has already shipped, via UPS, for delivery Wednesday. I'm not a fan of UPS, much prefer DPD as their system picks up my name and address and automatically routes it to a Drop Off Shop so I don't have to be in when delivered, but it is what it is, as long as it gets here.
