AMD Bulldozer Finally!

Well it's likely they'll delay the release of the new motherboards until they've at least had a chance to test them with production Bulldozer CPUs.

Am not too convinced about this delay myself until we start hearing it from other places, It doesn't look like the motherboard manufacturers are looking like holding back on the amount of board leaks we have seen this last week or so.

AMD always said that the boards would be released before BD, to allow users an 'upgrade path'

Yeah I know that, and we also haven't had an official date for BD anyhow. What I was getting at was the article mentioned above talking about delays was saying that Board manufacturers were thinking of delaying all their boards due to the ES situation. And thats the part that doesn't ring true for me at all.
 
I think we need to get to the bottom of these rumors,

Dodgy ES CPU being tested in a socket took out part of the Foxconn factory the other day leads to BD delay?

Or it was that fast it caused some kind of space time worm hole they all have to be downclocked as when it first posts it makes IB drop through the time warp. Am trying to get that one on rumorpedia but seems some Intel fans already tried that one...

LOL!

I think the lack of info from AMD about these rumoured delays is going to hurt them.I have held off from getting SB like a lot of people wanting to see how BD performed but my upgrade itch is getting the better of me and may just go with SB if no real info is released.

ditttttto! going to wait until computex now - hopefully see some benchs, but will upgrade to SB if there are anymore delays / lack of info after 1st of june, what a joke amd.

already got my ax850! :)
