AMD confirms Ryzen 7 5800X3D launches this spring, Zen4 Raphael in 2H 2022

Its not on my google search then, since the cheapest link is to ebay then to the chinese store front.

Ah okay. Yeah I don't trust ebay and I've been burnt once on an item so now I look for known store or if an unknown store but good reviews try and see if it can get priced matched somewhere else. Worked okay so far.

Not surprised. If it seems too cheap… maybe @Gibbo will follow pricing.

I got a 5800X for $340 a few weeks ago and could buy another for $360 right now.

Intel's CPU's are faster right now, so it makes sense for AMD's parts to see price cuts.

Joxen will never stop championing the 5800X3D. Paired it with a B550, £80 set of DDR4 4000 and RX 6900XTXH, Phew… fastest gaming setup ever! for less than what greedy Nvidia charge just for a RTX 3090 no less.
Amazing value but it’s will become tiring listen to Joxen and chums praise AMD over and over.

Why the personal insults to joxen?

H2 seems quite late for Zen 4.

I imagine Intel will have something reasonably close to ready to fight back with again at that stage.

Feels like AMD are running out of puff a little.

Meteor Lake isn't out until 2h '23 at the earliest based on Intel 4, so Zen4 will be at the top for a good while, as Raptor Lake is only a mild refresh of Alder that will need to keep them going.
